WhydoIbotherToo
I started playing eRepublik in 2009. Back then, we were in the middle of an invasion, were down to just a few states, and a guy named Emerick was PotUS. Those were fun times. You worked once a day, fought a few times, healed, and logged out. It was interesting. IRC always had something going on, the forums were bustling with activity, and the political side of the game was interesting.
I have attempted to quit this game several times but cannot seem to stay away. I find myself wondering what people within the community are up to, who is still around, who has moved on, who still cares enough to play this game.
I come back for the camaraderie I found within Easy Company. It is still a somewhat active community within the game. The leadership finds new ways to innovate and keep people active. Giving gold for training grounds for low level players, to selling Q7 weapons to members at ½ price, to the latest innovation, the EZC Airborne Corps.
EZC has given gold to the Airborne soldiers in anticipation of the release of Perception Training Grounds. Every Airborne Soldier will be ready to max out their Perception Grounds on day 1. How many other MUs out there have that sort of plan in place?

Well, it looks like you got all 25 comments. Nicely done.
