[EN] New Tool: eRepublik Article Editor

Day 3,094, 01:01 Published in Germany Germany by Master_rg

Hello fellow citizens,

yesterday we released our latest tool: The WYSIWYG Article Editor for eRepublik.
In this article I would like to give you a small overview of its features and the benefits by using it.

** What does "WYSIWYG" mean?
WYSIWYG means "What you see is what you get". Instead of playing around with BBCode Tags the article editor handles it directly for you - basically it's just like using e.g. Microsoft Word or Google Docs: Select the specific word and choose the markup from the toolbar.

** Which features does your article editor offer
- WYSIWYG Editor http://prntscr.com/b2a7cq
- Supports all BBCodes used by eRepublik http://prntscr.com/b2a7he
- Save your articles and edit them later http://prntscr.com/b2a7n2
- Share your articles with friends and give them Read or even Write Access http://prntscr.com/b2a7s3
- Copy and Paste Ready source code for your eRepublik article http://prntscr.com/b2a83r
- Directly import articles from eRepublik http://prntscr.com/b2a8df http://prntscr.com/b2a8mk

** Why should we use your article editor
As always we want to reach as many players as possible. Our tool gives benefits for old and of course for new players. New players won't need to worry about BBCodes or formatting issues, not to mention the good old "CSRF Attack detected." - eRepublik feature.

Just take your time to edit your article. No need to hurry because you may get a CSRF Attack, edit the article step by step and save it for later use.

"Older" players or e.g. the staff of ministries won't need to deal with 200 different articles where nobody knows if it's up to date or not, and they also won't have to deal with "lost article source codes" anymore:

Share your articles with your friends or other staff members and start working together again!

Lost the source code of a good article? Just import them right from eRepublik and start editing them!

** What's the difference to the eRepublik article editor
First of all: The article editor of eRepublik is just a plain editor. You have to deal with the BBCode, lost articles due to CSRF Attacks, you may forget to close a BBCode Tag and in the end the whole article looks like crap.

As I said already: This is a WYSIWYG article editor. It works just like Microsoft Word or Google Docs: Select words, make them bold, justify it, add elements like images with just two clicks and directly see if the layout fits your wishes.

However, you may want to compare those 2 images and let them speak for themselves:

** How many articles can I save on your website? Are there any limitations?
Long story short: As many articles as you want. There's only one limitation: You need to be registered and logged in at eRepublik-Deutschland.de, that way we can save and assign the article to your account.

** With how many players can I share my article? Do any limitations exist?
Nope. Add as many people as you want.

I hope I was able to show you the basic functionality of our article editor and answer the most recent questions. In case you found bugs, got wishes or just want to leave some feedback: Don't hesitate to leave a comment under this article.

Once again: Thanks for reading and, of course, thanks for supporting eRepublik-Deutschland.de

Best Regards
