Survey Results of the Rebellion
Setting aside the tumultuous ocean of angst and turmoil occurring beneath the surface of the American Revolutionary Party (formerly SFP), I'd like to try to push past the negativity and distribute the survey results. The rank-and-file party members did NOT vote for the status quo the dreaded Rev Comm would have you believe exists. The survey respondents chose the future of this brand new revolution against the status quo! All weekend, Rev Commers have been angrily trolling me, lobbing all sorts of personal attacks and generally telling me that the revolution will fail...
Without further ado:
This question inquired as to what policy focus(es) the party should have as we head into the fall/winter period of the year. Respondents were allowed to choose more than one option. The most popular answer was NOT the repeal of the dictatorship law. As verified by the working-class party members, the repeal is perhaps more popular with the Rev Comm than the actual party. Most of the survey respondents indicated they would like to actually activate the two clickers of the game!
Overwhelmingly, the survey respondents desire contact via in-game messages. Alternative means of communication struggled to get 50% interest, and that is despite the ability to pick more than one answer here. Duly noted, party members! I'll continue using in-game messages!
The party did express a moderate affinity for the old SFP name, although you'll note the average number was a mere 67, i.e. a 'D' by modern education standards, barely passing.
This next question reveals that the party is indeed worried the old SFP name was not inclusive. Out of a possible 100, it received an 'F' grade of 57.
Clearly, everyone came to the former SFP for different reasons: friends, change, socialism, and emigration from other parties. The diversity here is inspiring!
The responses here were confusing in light of prior responses indicating that the old brand was not cutting it. Statistically, it seems contradictory, but in light of recent media, it makes sense. The party is certainly conflicted.
The responses here highlight that some members like the existing name, but others have expressed the desire for a more inclusive yet still revolutionary name. Hopefully, the members have chosen such a name in the final questions.... Scroll down to see!
The party seems to have varying ideas as to what a new logo would illustrate, but one thing is clear: the Soviet iconography has to go. I figured as much from talking with members, but nice to see my interpretation was not wrong!
This question is the one everyone is most interested in seeing results on. Surprisingly, American Revolutionary Party won overwhelmingly. Based on Firefly affinity inside the party, I expected the Browncoats to get more traction, but it wasn't to be.
It is IMPORTANT to note that comments elsewhere did suggest the American Socialist Party, but not until after the survey was about halfway into its lifecycle. ASP received a couple acknowledgements, but I don't know how it would have performed had it been included here.
I will also note that several RevCommers filled out the survey, so obviously you see some 'Other' responses demanding we put back the old name. Still, they didn't add up to the total American Revolutionary Party votes.
CONCLUSION:
The Rev Comm was wrong. The party is asking for substantial change, they have only a minimal interest in repealing the dictatorship law, and they voted for the American Revolutionary Party.
I'm accepting Cabinet applications for the new party. Positions will match the in-game slots:
- Vice President
- Secretary-General
- Councillor
- Spokesperson
Send me an application for one of those roles, and tell me what you envision the role to be, and more importantly, what WORK you will do if chosen!
We're going to need a new logo..

If there is substantial interest, it might be worthwhile to hold a run-off vote between:
American Revolutionary Party
American Socialist Party
Very interesting read. I am not SFP and dont really care what name it takes, but I am curious to find out why the tally for the new name did not include the comments supporting to keep the SFP name.
Answer 3, 4, 7, 8, 10, 11 and 13 showed they supported the retention of the SFP name. This means it had the majority vote, beating ARP 7-6. Also answer 9 could arguably be another vote to keep the same name.
My 2 cents is that the new name has a more inclusive nature. Even when I saw so much activity and talent in the SFP I never even considered a move because of its name. But yet, the ones that are already in there probably liked it enough to join.
Because Cerb wants it changed, it would seem. We have tried repeatedly to talk to him. I polled the membership and found unanimous opposition to a name change. There is no other reason but that.
Sigh. You and I have spoken privately about this, so it's disappointing to hear you misrepresent this situation in public.
We have spoken privately! But I haven't seen any give for all this take. What do you expect?
I concur.
I have spoken with Cerb in private also and all I got was a stone wall and righteous indignation over the fact some of us believe he benefitted from a tainted vote after virtually demanding Tom resign because of the tainted vote. He may not have run the multis but he damn sure benefitted from it. A man would have resigned along with Tom over the tainted vote and tried again the next month.
Instead, he has come to one of the oldest parties in the game and walk on it with his hobnailed jackboots.
Oldest parties in the game, yet it said 2009. Lmao that ain't even old fool.
This is all a load of BS, Cerb is currently considered a rogue/hostile Party President by a majority of the party. He has not followed the parties constitution nor any of it's longtime self policing rules.
The Rev Comm is not the whole party, and it's incredibly elitist to think so.
The Revolutionary Committee is and always has been an all-volunteer body drawn from the party at large. Anyone who wants to be a part of it will be made a part of it. It is literally impossible to NOT be in the Revolutionary Committee if you want to be. How is that elitist?
Out of the 11 members of our party 6 do give support of the name change to ARP. That is a very low number. About a dozen members didn't want the name to be changed. As the name was already been done before the congress elections, support was low and the elections were a total disaster.
Sorry, I missed a 1. Not 11 members we have but 111 members. 21 did the survey. 6 supported ARP.
What is 'elitist' would be totally ditching the constitution (as you have) that has worked well for many years for the SFP and just doing what you wanted sighting some BS rhetoric backed up with some non-sense you try to make seem legit to people who don't know better.
The RC represents the party, not a lone rogue/dictator party president. (you) What your doing is highly disappointing. I would of expected something like this to be beneath you.
As a former member and 2x Party President of the SFP, this name change is disheartening.
The name change is essentially void, it was done by a rogue PP. What Cerb is doing is disheartening.
If you would of put Socialist Freedom Party on the ballot it would of won
That is exactly why the name Socialist Freedom Party was left off. A tainted survey by a tainted rogue hostile Party Dictator.
This has been very disappointing. Much more was expected from a citizen who feels he is on the top 10 list of most other citizens as a 'Citizen with the Most Integrity'. If this is what he calls integrity then I understand totally the cesspool that is the eUSA Forum.
Guess I'm not VP anymore! LMAO calling The Revolutionary Committee "elitist" is like calling a group a stoners an "exclusive" bunch. Literally anyone can join the RC. This is just bad at this point Cerb. Collect your dignity.

The fact that you didn't have a control of including SFP as a response in Q10 invalidates the conclusion.
Using a survey that can be passed around for anyone to respond doesn't conclude anything. Opening a forum discussion, on your eusa forum or the sfp forum would show you more accurate results. Hell, even doing a shout in the party feed would be more accurate.
Good job though. SFP has had its poorest turnout in Congress election votes since it breached the top 5.
I consider the SFP to be under PTO at this time. I urge all members of SFP to pull together for the next PP election and overturn the now-Dictator-leader of the party so that the party name and ideals can be restored. This party was founded on those who want to participate on decision making volunteer to do so, and not on the Fed and USWP ideals of an elitist little band selected by the existing elites in those parties running shit. It is a party where decisions on congress list and who to support for CP are taken by the membership, not by the PP unilaterally (like has happened this month). And before Feds say they do't have an elite tier, they certainly did when I was a member, as do the USWP. Cerb has turned SFP into USWFed-lite in the space of a few days. It needs to be stopped.
Too bad Cerb, I think you had some good ideas but by discounting the constitution of the party you have basically lost any bit of trust you might have gained. If this was a planned PTO then well done sir. Amazing job of grabbing control. If it really was just a gross misjudgement of how the party would react to your violations of our constitution then you would probably have already admitted that and changed the name back to SFP. I can only believe this was hostile and planned. Many might cheer you for messing with SFP (I get it, many eUS citizens don't like us) but I hope that most folks will condemn your actions as I do.
And if the endorsements of this are any indication you currently only have two. None from SFP and of the two you have one is Trite who obviously doesn't like SFP and would endorse anyone who speaks ill of us.

Cerb has apparently decided to go into hiding, what is he afraid of? Perhaps the voices against him are costing him sleep and he can't face eRep.
