Hello all, my name is Ash Brandon and I am the Secretary General of The Unity Party, dMoD of the United Kingdom, and The Unity Party's Presidential Candidate.

First Things First

• In this article, I will be releasing the identities of the members in my cabinet! But yet, I still encourage you - if you would like to be a part of government this month, message me.

The Medicine Cabinet

Vice Country President

It is with great honor that I first announce my vCP for the upcoming term. This person has been an involved politician ever since he landed foot on the great British Isles and hasn't stopped ever since. His dedication, eloquence, and experience add up to an equation of pure excellence and rhetorical genius.

Paul Tyndale has accepted my nomination to stand as vCP. Paul will be involved with all of the ministries, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently as possible.
He will be one of my closest advisers and will be involved in all discussions pertaining to the UK with other country officials.

Minister of Foreign Affairs

This choice was easy, knowing that one person has run the Foreign Office for a copious amount of terms. His loyalty and experience will definitely play a part in his role for the month as we get ready to review a lot of the stances UK has jumped on internationally.

Aaron Mark Daniels, better known as AMD, has accepted my nomination to stand as Minister of Foreign Affairs. He will be our biggest defender through the month as well as inform the public about international affairs with the re-implementation of both the Ambassadors Programme and the regular publications from the Foreign Office.

Governor / Minister of Finance

This choice, once again, was one that was easy to make. This minister has devoted himself to the pocketbook of the United Kingdom, and he has done an excellent job so far. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Huey George has accepted my nomination to stand as the Minister of Finance, or Governor. Huey has done an excellent job making sure corruption and greed has not destroyed our financial status, as well as making sure that all of the numbers are accurate and monies are accounted for.

Minister of Home Affairs

The person I have selected to take care of things at home is truly one of the most experienced and wisest people in our great nation. She has worked tirelessly to educate the ignorance and to help the helpless, as well as make her country an enjoyable and fun environment. She genuinely cares about this country and will do her best to liven it up once more.

Madelina de Melrose has accepted my nomination to stand as Minister of Home Affairs. Madelina has immense experience in Home Affairs work already, so her leading this ministry will be no qualm. I have no doubt that she will liven it up by reestablishing the Home Office, as well as providing fun and entertainment for all.

Minister of Defence

Last but not least, we come to the Ministry of Defence. Once again, the person I have selected has immense experience in this ministry and has proven his loyalty to his country countless times by leading its' military into successful and noteworthy battles/campaigns. There is no doubt this person will strengthen the MoD once again, bringing it back up to standards.

Sambo has accepted my nomination to stand as Minister of Defence. Better put by the man himself, he is a "multi time eUK MoFA and MoD" with plenty of knowledge and motivation to turn this country's military back on it's feet. Sambo will continue with the daily DO articles as well as the initiatives that we offer for those who hit for our country. He will be working closely alongside myself and Paul as we dive into a world full of tension and figure out what the best path for the UK is.

There you have it. The Brandon Manifesto is now complete.
However...

I must say one more thing. This campaign has taught me many things. At the end of the day, you may have your respectable opinion regarding who you feel should lead the country, and you're entitled to that with your vote, but at the end of the day, we are all Britons.

We all want to see this country succeed at the end of the day. You, the people, have my wholehearted promise that if I am elected, I will not fail to keep my promises. This is about you, and what you want and what is best for the country.

I will not abandon the country in a time of need. I will not treat the Presidency as a joke. I will, however, lead to the best of my abilities and listen to you, the people. Take on me and I will make sure never to disappoint, rather to please.

Thank you to all that have supported me. Thank you to all that have believed in me. Thank you to all that have doubted me, those doubts have made me stronger not only as a candidate, but as a citizen.

Good luck Ash - you're more than welcome to stay on at the MoD for further training should the 5th prove unfavourable.

Given the similarities of our cab though I do think we need more active members in charge of the MoD and MoEd. Have great respect for Sambo and Madelina - have worked with them for years. I just expect Voodoo, Chaz & Wayne are more engaged and experienced for the roles this term

All in all, a very lackluster Cabinet. I wasn't gonna vote for you before this information was released and I'm still not gonna vote for you. A typical TUP CP Campaign. Full of words, but very little substance...

AMD has been asked to released FA information in articles and will do so under my administration.

MoHA is a combined ministry... you should know this. I'm calling it HA rather than E because she won't be dealing with just E. Madelina has been active and playing this game. You have no right to state otherwise when you don't know. Just because someone chooses to not be a part of government doesn't mean they aren't playing the game. Besides, all you've done is comment rubbish on articles when there have been "x" battles you could have helped out in but didn't.

Sambo has experience. He has the potential. I know for certain that if you give him the respect he deserves, he'll put out the respect that's expected.

How can I not hear you out. You type, I read, I reply. I have no choice but to 'hear you out'. Just because I can counter your arguments and make you uncomfortable with my questions does not mean I blow you off.

Pretty sure (I hope) AMD has been asked to release articles by every CP he's worked under. For many terms he hasn't done so. What makes you think you can buck that trend?

I never mentioned Maddie, I simply commented that MoHA was utterly pointless. It's never been any good or any use since the days of Betafoxtrot. People only ever include it because they don't have the confidence that there term will be entertaining. So they try to get people to 'create fun and games', in order to distract.

Sambo, I know Sambo well. He was one of the guys I first met here, we 'worked' with each other in UKPP/RN. We go way back, by the end of my time in the game, he was part of our gang. Sambo has the ability, we taught him well. But he's lazy and when the going gets tough he runs away.

Cynical, yes. Narcissistic, more than likely. I've often praised Cabinets that I haven't been in. Wook had a great Cabinet during his first term, Chaz has great Cabinets, Fata knows how to pick people, Aleks' cabinet was amazing. If you don't like a little heat over things you do and the decisions you make, you ain't gonna have a happy term should you win. Being CP means people through shit at you. Even during my EPIC term, people were giving me shit. It's part and parcel of the job. The best way to avoid it is to choose the correct options and have good arguments for them.

I was kinda new then but still gave you shit for not pursuing the war with Norway. At the end of the day it all turned out swimmingly (thanks to some crazy COs).

I can't help but think that Ash's cabinet is "safe," and nothing more. No death or glory there.

I had Keers and the TUP Goons (back when TUP was competent) giving me shit. A lesser man would have cracked, instead I stood my ground and fired back. In the end I won em over.

Ignoring concerns and not addressing them as a CP means you have lost the argument. A lot of the issues come down to the eUK having no story, no dream. We need a goal, something to shoot for. 'Empire or Bust!' was the greatest fun I ever had in this game.

The whole 'don't fight cuz XP' thing is old news. It no longer applies, far too much difference in strength nowadays, he should be fighting every chance he gets in Air Battles only, while his account is terrible in a Tank Battle, he ain't so weak in Air Battles...

As it would appear people are talking about me here (and we all know I love that), if any of the potential CPs want me around then I aim to get back active for the next month so willing to help out.
