The Living, The Dead, And The Zombies

As one who a week ago numbered among the dead this this article may be skewed by the fact that I have no idea what happened in the game for years (beyond the light wiki reading I have done), but that won't keep me from running my mouth on subjects that I may or may not have anything valuable to say about.
Recently I got a job working for a "dead citizen", worked at his company a day, and he promptly logged on and fired me. Quite the experience, its a funny feeling to get owned by a zombie, an apparently dead citizen who springs to life only to shout the words 'get off my lawn'.
While he has every right to choose who works for him, one has to wonder about the mentality of those who obviously no longer actively play the game yet leave all sorts of offers active.
My first impression was something like 'oh this dude no longer plays but he wishes to leave a legacy for those who still do'........ yeahhhhh, no.
So that got me to thinking, how many players are in this comatose state? Not really alive but not really dead? It also got me to wondering why there is no display on profiles to indicate the last log in date?
Interesting questions, the first is difficult to answer, as the motivations for these players will be multitudinous, yet it is a question worth asking.
Many may merely be absent due to RL work or other commitments, completely understandable.
Many more may be ambivalent about the game, certain things may be contrary to their liking and they simply went into standby mode.
And still others may be waiting for 'something' to happen, whether or not that is something predetermined by them, or merely an exciting event.
Unfortunately though, most are probably just bots waiting to murder us all in our beds XD.
The answer to the second question is simply that the feature has not been added by the devs.
But can a player every truly be dead?
This is a question that has no easy answer, certainly many factors can trend towards permanent dead citizen status, example RL death, loosing/forgetting the log in credentials, the terminator blowing up your computer.
But in most cases, the answer is that you can never totally count a player out.... well unless they are perma banned.
So whether you be living, dead, or a zombie, happy trails to you!

In my day Zombies were USWP members.
I remember those days, it was kind of a shock that party kicked the bucket, they were like THE support system for new players back in the day.
I wasn't around for the demise. I, too, took a few years off. And to be honest, it was the presidential term that really killed my desire to play.
Dear Author.
If you do not mind, please let the spokesmen know that I need their acceptance regarding my e-citizenship application.
Thank you 🙂

I'm worry only from zombies in FEDs, Constitution party and the government 🙂
Are even the permabans permanent?
Maybe not if you know a guy, who knows a guy, who knows a devs girlfriends sister XD
They walk among us.
Vote worthy
A "dead citized" mark appears after 30 days he don't login.
You were really bad luck to get a job in the same time he came back in game after more than a month!
i recently dug myself out of my egrave to take a look around.
Live your life and have fun!
