[FINANCE] Balance of the last 35 days.

Day 719, 15:34 Published in Netherlands Netherlands by Ministerie van Economische Zak

The weekly report will follow tomorrow. However, I will write a short article with some estimates about income and expenses of last month, just to inform you of the bigger picture.

Based on the donations made by the Ministry of Finances (state accounts, DNB and Ministerie van Economische Zak), I have donated an equivalent of 2,900 GOLD in the last 35 days. This includes the donations to all departments (minus any donations they made back to EZ/DN😎 and any other expenses. This comes to around 83 GOLD per day.

This 83 GOLD per day is divided as follows over the different departments:

42.3% State Companies
34.6% Ministry of Defense (Including costs for training wars)
11.4% Belgian Affairs (Concerns aid to Belgium, like companies. Does NOT include defense costs.)
5.2% MPPs
2.7% Ministry of Raws (Concerns raws for State Companies)
3.8% Other (including buying Q5 hospital for West)

Please be aware that this does not equal the total operating balance (profit/loss) of the departments! For example, the defense costs against the Romanian RWs in Belgium are not only covered by Defense, but also by State Companies (MTs, Gifts). Also, State Companies are currently selling a Q5 hospital and Q5 Defence System. Although this will not cover up for all expenses made by State Companies, selling these will have an positive impact on these figures.

Income is hard to calculate, especially when donations and monetary market profits have to be taken into account (donations to the State Accounts cannot be viewed). I am, however, able to calculate the total eUNL balance over the last 35 days. I have to rely on the combined starting and ending balance of the State Accounts, DNB and Ministerie van Economische Zak. In my first report, the total value of the GOLD, NLG and BEF in the accounts was 4,054.06 G, while currently it is 3,017.27 G. This is a loss of around 30 GOLD per day.

However, please note the impact of recent one-time investments. For example, upgrading UNL Weapons cost 200 GOLD. This brings the “balance per day” down with 5.7 GOLD a day. These one-time expenses would no longer be made if we don’t have the required funds. So although these figures might look bad, consider the huge impact of these one-time investments - on top of the costs related to the RWs. For example, 5 days ago the loss per day was “only” 22 GOLD, even though the RWs were going on then already. Fortunately, we still have the funds to make these kind of investments, so I do not foresee any financial troubles in the near future.
