[Eire-MoFA] Failed Airstrike and Canadian issue

Hello eIreland,
Firstly, I’d like to congratulate to our new President - An Sluagh, we all hope he’s going to lead our nation into fearless battles and provide a bit more success than we recently had. Secondly, I’d like to congratulate to all elected Governments around the eWorld, hopefully we all get more fun playing this game, fighting each other, helping each other and organising things.

About the failed Airstrike..

The party you all have been waiting for, as member of the Government from the last month I’m taking responsability for the failed Airstrike we just had on Brazil. I’m not saying we shouldn’t have do it and to be honest, if I knew the outcome will be like this I’d still do it. We did hope for the win, but this win would’ve cost us too much. Few weeks ago, we approached our friends from eChile and told them that if they need our help we’ll be there for them. We meant that. Chile got into trouble after Argentina attacked their allies in Paraguay, it meant that Chile is going to attack Argentina to protect their small brother. We couldn’t just watch our two friends fighting alone. Together with other small countries - Bosnia&Herzegovina, India and Switzerland we’ve decided to fly all the way to Brazil and try to fight them, to make them spend, to stop their attack on eChile. Our Airstrike has been few hours later than the other ones, we had a good start unlike the other Airstrikes, we had 17-5 lead, we’ve looked good. Unfortunatly, over our night time Brazil has turned the outcome of the battle and won it.

In the mean time Brazil has won the other three Airstrikes on them too, they’ve spent tons of money and damage, they had full support from their Alliance - Asteria. We was thinking about spending more money and give a strong attempt to win that battle, but that would be a hard and expensive victory for us. After realising that we’d be the only country which would manage to Airstrike Brazil it seemed reasonable to stop spending the money (which by the way didn’t come from the country’s accounts) and admit that we couldn’t do much with Brazil 1 on 1. We lost the Airstrike.

There are some positives about this. We all gave our best to help our allies and I’m sure our allies will know how to respect that and return the favour. We proved once again that we’re not afraid of joining the battles with one of the strongest countries around the world for our allies. Our reputation as Fighting Irish has, once again been proved. I’m sorry we couldn’t help more to Chile and Paraguay as much as we wanted to, but one thing is sure - We made Brazil spend, we drained whole alliance while our allies has won other important battles, our enemies has lost many colonies in Slovakia, Nigeria and other countries, Brazilian advance on Chile has been slowed down and now we will keep doing our part to help our allies. Not directly as we hoped for, but our allies won’t be left alone.






About the Canada-Croatia-Macedonia issue…

Three of our allies are fighting each other, Croatia and Macedonia has attacked and conquered Canada. I’ve asked for the reasons of Macedonian attack and according to them Canadian President and some other Cabinet members has been insulting them with name ‘FYROM’ ; they fought in RW’s even though those two had deal. Croatian reasons are different, they just wanted some more fun and more regions. We’re sad to see our allies fighting each other, but we can’t do much about it since both of them wants to keep fighting. Attempts were made to make peace between them, Ireland has been mediator and tried to find some peaceful solution which would please the both sides. Unfortunatly, there no such solution and we don’t have much choice but keep watching our friends fighting each other and stay neutral from what happens there. I guess each of them have their reasons to do that. We hope those issues will be solved soon and we wish our Canadian brothers to liberate themselves.




Alliances Update..

There’s still no new Alliances been forming, there’s no even whispers about them. Asteria is still the alliance with huge damage advantage, huge organisation advantage and it looks like nothing can stop them. Being a small country, on a weaker ‘side’ of this bipolar eWorld, we can only hope something will change soon, I’m not being pesimistic unfortunatly that’s the realitiy. At least we haven’t spend much on this Airstrike, we can still protect ourselves from any potential threats. Our country is safe and we have a duty to make it stronger, better and more organised. Hopefully we’re going to manage to do it.

Well, that’s bout it for now. I have lots of work PMing Governments worldwide to congratulate them for their elections and send them the messages they will never read hehe..
