[Eire-FA] Poll results

Day 2,600, 12:21 Published in Ireland Ireland by Aras an Uachtarain

Hello eIreland,
I’d like to thank to everyone who participated in our short poll considering the Alliances, in this article you can see the results and my subjective analzye of the results for each question.

General information:
Number of people taking the poll: 27

As you can see only few of Irish citizens actually wanted to participate in a poll such as this one, hopefully we’ll have more people involved next time we do something similar. Only 27 people answering the poll questions is concerning, because I’m afraid we will need much more active people interested in diplomatic questions and military aspects of the game if we want to have a stronger country.

Q1: Pick a country you would like us to be allies with.

As expected Canada, Croatia, Macedonia, Chile, Bulgaria, USA, Italy and Indonesia found their way to become the Irish Number One allies, but the total surprise for me was United Kingdom. I doubt there’s many Irish citizens who actually do see United Kingdom as a loyal friend, but this results are obviously sign of improvement. UK has helped us twice in 2014. and obviously our citizens appreciate it. Also, having UK in top 5 countries is a sign that Irish citizens don’t want any new wars in our neighbourhood. We want stable and safe surrounding. Our oldest friend - Canada once again won the ‘Irish Number One’ Ally reward.

Q2: What criteria would you like us to use when picking allies?

I was very proud to see that only one Irish citizen which participated poll doesn’t care about how friendly our future allies will be towards us. Most of Irish citizens obviously wants to be both with the old friends and in a strong and stable alliance made of considerably strong countries too. It reminds me of Aurora, maybe we’ve fallen in love with this alliance more than anyone expected.

Q3: Which country is our best bro?

As being said in the last paragraph, Ireland still loves and supports Aurora members more than anyone else. Canada, as expected, still has strong support in Irish citizens. Last couple of years haven’t done much for our loyal minds and we still have Canada market in our hearts. Almost 15% of Irish citizens thinks we should look for a new allies.

Q4: Write few lines about where you see Ireland in the future.

This part of the poll has been most amusing to read after you guys made your opinion. I’ll post those who made me laugh most among the ones I’m allowed to publish without risking this Ministry to recieve penalties from our dear Plato.

To conclude,
hopefully, we’re going to make very important decisions together, as one, since they do have effects on us all. But one things is sure, we need to think, analyze and give our best to place Ireland into stable, friendly and strong alliance where we would be given a right to vote, to have voice and to express our concerns. Basicly, what Aurora was.

Yours,
Soy Moris, Irish Minister of Foreign Affairs.
