Join the new world

Dear Citizens of eIreland,



The summer has come and I would like to write about what has been done this month.

Our biggest problem in May was Romania staying in Shannon. We asked them when they leave, they came up with the idea of a TW and later a deer concession, but none of us were particularly interested in the other's ideas so the negotiations had no much progress. They were dissatisfied with our TW partner Finland and yesterday proposed an NE against them, which can mean they will attack them in Louth.

A communication channel was set up with UK and we agreed in the possibility of a third TW of ping-pong type between Northern-Ireland and Shannon but this would require Romania to leave so for now this is only an idea.



Congress

We have only one region so the technical congress provided by the game mechanism is only 10 players. To maintain the original level of representation we developed a tradition to include non-congress members in the message, which so far left the question open who should be included and who not. Because of this it has been decided that the message should include:

• Congress members elected on congress elections
• Party members proposed by Party Presidents
• For the remaining places Irish citizens can apply on the country wall.

As for the name of the congress that it is called "Dublin Commune". I didn't start voting about the name because I didn't know it was a problem. I thought players left first time because they were included without asking if they wanted to participate. I would like to make clear that the composition of the current message was not decided by me, but by the above rules. The next CP will decide about the change of the name.



Diplomatic Corps

The Diplomatic Corps has been set up by ProphetxN7. and it is to maintain relations with foreign countries through ambassadors. Now we have ambassador to eastern-European coutries (ProphetxN7.), to North and South American countries (Gracee OMalley), and to Asian and Oceanian countries (me). Two more ambassadors would be needed for western-European countries, and for African and Middle-Aastern countries.



Air Rank Program of eIreland

This program intends to develop the airforce of eIreland. Since many air players went inactive or left for other countries, despite the program eIreland's airforce isn't really strong now, sometimes even the wall in the TWs could cause problems. This is why I was reluctant to give alliance prio for most of the month not to divide our forces when losing Dublin would had led to deletion. The improvement of the airforce is important otherwise we can't win in air even against smaller countries, and can't be present in allies battles to help them.

By spendings the program has two parts:
• First is that participants receive 5CC/kill for all kills they made in air in a week. On this 421600 CC has been spent in May.
• Second is that we have an ingame message where participants are directed into prio air battles, where they receive 30CC/kill for their air kills. On this 441720 CC was spent in May.

On income side,
• The air program receives 400.000 CC a month from the government
• In May I received 200.000 CC support from South Korea from Master of Brutality. (Thank you very much for the support!)
• The remaining 263320 CC was funded by me.



Company Development Program

In the previous months Ireland made Cork and Mayo into 100% bonus regions, but nothing had happened to utilize them, this is why I started this program. 7 players applied and 140 new companies have been built which means Ireland's tax income increased by 60.000 CC a month. The project ended for now, its cost was 1031210 CC and was privately funded. In this month many companies were moved to Cork independently from the company program too.




I am not running for CP next month. I wish good luck to Rusty D and Cat Sith and I wish successful month for June.
