[CP] Progress Update and Media Subsidies

Citizens of the Republic,

I thought I owed you all a progress update after the first week of my presidency.
First of all, we have finished establishing the terms of our agreement with Indonesia, UK, and Serbia, as you can see on the map. Also, we have begun our TW with the UK.

About that... remember, we are to
WIN MAYO BATTLES and
LOSE NORTHERN IRELAND BATTLES
for the UK TW.
Now on the Economy.

The Food/Weapons economy is booming! Especially after our fortuitous resource concession deal with Mexico, giving us 100% food bonuses!

There's only one slight modification I would like to make to this wonderful economy.

I'd like to lower the import tax on Food, Weapons, and Houses to 1%. This way, we'll eliminate ALL barriers to trade and ensure access to low-cost goods to all citizens. The impetus for this is primarily the housing market in eIreland, which has scarce supply.

I hope that congress will be amenable to making these changes to taxation in eIreland, so we can get back to ALL 1% taxes!
Media Subsidies!

In this article, I am also announcing my MEDIA subsidies for the rest of this term. All the cash for this comes out of MY pocket, so no worries about wasting public funds...

It's quite simple. I am going to give 10 gold to the first four eIrish writers who write an article that is:

not spam
and has at least 200 words written by them.
(seems like a bare minimum for a subsidy)
