Dear citizens of the eNetherlands,

The Activity Check is for statistical purposes to offer citizens a very simple way to show 'they're still around' and get some goods to help them through eLife. All that is needed is to reply on this article with an answer to the following question:

''Would you describe yourself as a politician, a soldier or just an ordinary citizen?''

Rules
- Reward for this week: 10 Q7 Weapons
- Only citizens with eDutch citizenship are eligible
- Only an answer on the question will get you goods
- Week determined by in-game weeks (week starts/ends at Tuesday)
- Rewarded goods are - when possible - bought on the eNL Market

Advice of the Week
There are different ways to be active in eRepublik and the eNetherlands. While fighting in either Land Warfare or Air Warfare is of massive importance to the power of our country some may opt for other priorities (whilst training!) due for example a lack of strength or rank in comparison to (very) old players. Feeling left out in this game? Join an active Political Party and get involved in Congress, Government and most importantly: The Community!

I started as a soldier, became a politician, now i'm trying to reduce my activity (doens't work yet). I've always tried be someone that contributes to the eNL community.

Current status: I guess both a politician and a soldier, maybe a generous and active citizen?

Politician. Not a soldier at all. I don't mind if they would delete the whole fighting module. I'm here for the community and the politics. Which, I found out, also means that I won't be here if there isn't much politics or if the community is inactive.

Yup. It's not that I get dissapointed by eNL if there isn't any activity, but I lose unwillingly my interest in the game. Political activity is a necessary incentive to play for me.

Your training (in comparison with your XP/Level) is certainly admirable. Once you go fighting and cautiously hunt for medals you're sure of making a buck or two!

I'm getting old, and daily training is free gold (especially past level 201)... So yes, I definitely have high strength, but I don't think it is that relevant...

I guess my # of BH, CH and SH medals relative to other medals should be an indication that I'm not so interested in the military aspect. My last BH medal came as a complete surprise to me. I did 42 kills for a FF medal (25M influence). Apparently the real soldiers didn't fight...

I do fight, but I typically don't move around for it. Fighting is mainly a means to high XP for me, instead of me actually caring about the battles. So I tend to go for FF medals.

The real military part is a bit ridiculous. 20000 hits (or more) to reach the next military rank. That takes at least a month, and considering that i split my hits roughly 50/50 over air and normal rounds, it'll probably be like two months to reach the next air rank.

If eNL needs me to be a soldier (something more important than a training war), I will be ready. But till that time comes, I'm not so interested in the military aspect.

And world-wide, my strength is insignificant. 😛
The top 100 has over 231k strength at the moment. And they will always keep their lead of almost 40k relative to me.

And even in eNL I'm only 6th based on strength. My military rank and air rank are 7th of eNL. And on XP I'm 4th.
