What Is It That Is Coming, Preview

Decline.
It is a word that we have heard a lot in the past few months.
And yet, there is nothing that this whole community of intelligent, interesting people can do about it. Most, at this point do not want to.
Why?
Where are we, as a group of people headed?
The world has at no point been more chaotic, and at the same time, more stagnant.
And yet, we have no tangible vision of the future, because we have not yet taken the difficult step of looking and thinking.
The essay that will come out will look, in depth, at the history of this game, where we are now, the strategies of both the playerbase and the administration, how they interface, and finally, what is coming towards us in the future.
It will be a difficult process, so please be patient, but if you would like to give your opinion, or be interviewed, message me.
I will attempt to make the piece with as little bias as possible, so multiple viewpoints and communications are welcomed.
"What Is It That Is Coming?"

Stay tuned.

"Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

Surely some revelation is at hand;
Surely the Second Coming is at hand.
The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
When a vast image out of Spiritus Mundi
Troubles my sight: somewhere in sands of the desert
A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,
Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it
Reel shadows of the indignant desert birds.
The darkness drops again; but now I know
That twenty centuries of stony sleep
Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?"
