I ask myself this question every day.
I guess I like the politics part. lol
Good to know that I am not alone
Have fun and prosper, or in other words, don't mind the bad parts (like multi masters, real life money investors or bullies) but make friends, smile and be happy when a decent one wins elections. It happens, not always but I think at least twice in a year it does. 🍻
The bad parts really are a shame, but I agree that there are good outcomes once in a while
I like the idea, but please use a bigger font in future articles
Thanks for feedback! Fixed a little, helped?
So much better, as a person with low vision I appreciate it
I have a massively difficult IRL and this game is like an escape from that so far.
Ouch, that is a little sad to hear. But there's similarities between the two don't you think so?
I don't know yet. But I know that I can have fresh relationships here that are undamaged by real problems. Fake problems don't make me sad.
Why do I still play?
Quit the game many times but eventually came back. Something drags me back here and I do not know what that is and why.
Tho I do not know for how much longer I will continue, the game is becoming progressively more un-playable.
Hopefully a long time o/
I feel that's even harder for new ones
As in RL, the good comes with the bad.
This game is just a small mirror to reflect that sometimes glares back at us brightly.
I stick around because of the eFreinds I have made over the last decade.
Some of the good ones are long eDead but I have eMet some good ones that fill that void.
So yeah the social aspect still works for me.
I still find fun in this mess.
Nice, it's good to see that friendship it's still a feature

Thanks, but not thanks.
I've been gone from this game for around 7 years, but just recently came back. With that in mind, rediscovering this game, I've found that it offers the same thing as a lot of games: community. And with the internet, we get an opportunity to add people from around the globe into our little community. We get to learn a little bit about possibly different languages, or just learn how people do things on the other side of the ocean, or even just on the other side of the country.
Humans are tribalistic creatures, and this game is designed to take advantage of that fact. We love working for a common cause alongside a whole group of people. It makes us feel like we belong to something, like we're not alone.
I've played other games that rely heavily on community like this one, and I've made friends there who I would actually want to invite to my wedding. I haven't been back on erep for long enough to develop those kind of bonds with people, but I absolutely expect to.
Wow, I wasn't expecting to find something like this soon in this project.. I feel that the community it's the main feature also, for good and sometimes for the bad. I really hope that you find more friends to your list!
