Looking Into the Future.

Day 926, 01:54 Published in Ireland Ireland by Nikolasthe17th

I will soon be making an attempt to run for the president of this country. It will not be this month and it may not be next month, but I am posting my proposals early, so that everyone can familiarize themselves with my platform, and if anyone decides to use my ideas as their own then at least my ideas are being implemented. First I plan to simplify the government, I'd like to take the many departments currently being used and consolidate them. It might make the departments busier but it will make them easier to track. These are my plans for the departments:

Foreign Relations
(Defense, and Foreign Affairs)
Concerned with dealing with outside nations, assigning representatives as needed. When diplomacy does not work the department will function as the department of defense. I chose this set up because I do not intend to be aggressive towards any nation.
Culture
(Community, New Citizens, Information, Immigration, Health, and Education)
Concerned with educating new players. The department will remain in contact with citizens and evaluate the level of difficulty that faces them. The department will also be charged with reaching out and drawing those interested in immigrating.
Internal Affairs
Not a real part of the government, records the goings on of the president and the departments, and reports them to the citizens, an effort in honesty.
Economy
(Finance, and Industry)
All things money, monitors the IEP and works to keep the markets working at their best, also supplies/monitors funding for the other departments.

I plan to create a cabinet of the heads of these four departments, as well as every party president that wishes to participate. Including party presidents will give the voters more fine control in the administration. Until I enter the race I'll be “auditioning” people interested in heading these departments.
