Join the new world

I have been thinking very hard about a platform. The more I thought the more impossible it seemed. The more I began to dream, and the harder it got. But then I slowed it down, and then I thought for a moment, and it isn't impossible. What I dream can happen, no I just have to make it happen. And this is how I plan to turn these dreams into a reality:

Canadian - 2009 Political Reconstitution

I. Economy -

Over the past month, the Bruck administration has guided the economy with a steady hand, no there was no massive government intervention, nor did the Canadian economy collapse. Instead we have faced and surpassed old challenges only to find ourselves facing new ones, to overcome these challenges there must be steady, intelligent and experienced leadership at the helm. A vote for Tantis will accomplish this. Before our new policies can be explained we must first elaborate on our current ones.

Monetary Policy

Those who export and bring in Gold from other countries can now get enough CAD to pay wages and maintain the high levels of Raw Materials exports that Canada is known for. Domestic companies, can still purchase gold to expand their businesses at a reasonable price without making it too easy thus rewarding the best of Canada's businesses the right to expand. To prevent future problems and a gold crisis around the middle of my administration will be slowly buying up gold but only when there is at least 200 gold (outside of any government gold) on the market and then only 10% of the market will be purchased, and no more then 3 purchases a week. Its a slow process to be sure but it should offset the steadily decreasing gold supply. This is subject to change as the market changes, flexibility is a key part of the CLP economic policy.

Labour

Once again admin involvement has provided us with an economic issue, as many have noticed we have a shortage of workers, there are two main causes to this. This new demand for workers was compounded by the large number of Q1 and Q2 firms created around May all of whom wanted to keep going (though many have left the market) and needed more workers to do so. This has lead to an increase in the wages of mid skill range workers which is good, except this means the price of goods must also increase to compensate for higher costs and this could, in time, spiral out of control into a mess. But it wont happen, I'm bringing back the Immigrant Workers program, which pays hardworking Canadian citizens money for recruiting people from around the world to come and work and benefit from all Canada has to offer. This policy taps into the stockpiles of moving tickets to help get citizens here and employed fast. If this does not prove enough we are prepared to take more drastic measures to get workers to Canada.

Loans

Loans will once again be given to Canadian Corporations. In order to receive these loans you must be applicable and reach certain requirements these requirements will be posted on the forums in the econ section the day after elections.

Taxes and Incentives

To help the Economy even more I want to help activity and give newer members a reason to continue playing. Incentives such as registering on the forums and being active for a week, you will receive 5 CAD. Reaching Level 6, 5 more CAD. These incentives will hopefully help newcomers and help national activity.

But to reduce the cost of these incentives taxes will change. Not to much but It wouldn't make a difference. maybe 1% more or less here and there.

- maintain stability in the monetary market
- slowly buy gold to offset government gold spending but not disrupt market prices
- insure new labor is brought in to increase productivity of key industries
- insure a stable supply of high Q food
- housing and gifts should sort themselves out in time

II. Foreign Affairs -

We will Continue to work an establish a better position in the eWorld, as a member of a dying alliance and of the Old ATLANTIS, I have looked over the treaty many times and I have seen many flaws in it, with the help of the Foreign Affairs Minister, and a good friend of mine from the United Kingdom, we will post the Treaty for all proposed Alliance Nations.

We will work to maintain great relationships with the US, UK, Spain, Ireland and Romania.

The Foreign Affairs will be a Joint Position now, Minister of Foreign Affairs will take care of all Foreign policies and and continue to work with all no-alliance members in creating new relationships. Minister of Alliance Affairs will take care of all Alliance policies and will work with my self and a representative of the United Kingdom, in creating a new Alliance.

III. Defense -

I want to continue on building the Canadian Armed forces, by:

-Talking to allies in participating in War Games to enhance soldiers experience and strength and to help the economy.
-Creating missions for forces to complete during these war games for both fun and experience. These missions will help the Armed Forces on both Team Work and Completing Time Based Missions.
-I will be bringing back the Canadian MEC-Squads to head into battle to supply troops. These MEC-Squads will be called Supply Forces instead.
-Will work closely with both the General of the Armed Forces and the Minister of Defense in remaking the ranking system and changing the names of ranks and units.

As well the CPF will:

-Focus on the building and purchasing of defense systems
-Increase budget of the CAF by 10,000 (for the War Games that we will continue during my term)
-Continue with writing educational articles for the CAF and their officers
-Reward for excellence

IV. Legislation -

Congress will be the Law Making force in Canada. They will discuss and vote on all laws.

Citizens Panel - Will be a panel open to all citizens of Canada. This panel of members will be able to discuss and propose laws for congress. They do not have the power to Vote in congress, Discuss in Congress or Veto any of the laws passed by congress. One member of the panel will be chosen within its members who will be given special access to Congress. This Member does not have access into the Voting Section of congress but may discuss in the congress discussion area.

V. Citizenship -

I am one person who forgives others but only once. So I am giving certain formal Canadian Citizens to redeem their Citizenship and once again become members of the Canadian Community. In order to receive my support PM me after Elections and I will speak with my Cabinet and congress. It will be voted upon but through in game PM and a majority of the total vote must be for citizenship.

VI. Constitution -

Alexander and I will continue the Revision of the Constitution on top of our other duties. The Constitutions final draft will hopefully be up and voted on by the 30th of this month.

VI. Government -

Now the government. Government has been changed over the months based on how the President thinks it will work best and who he/she thinks will do best in the position. This Months Government will be more different and advanced then most of the last government. This new structure will allow the government to work at its best and smoothly.
