To Dr Fogarty

Is there any history about this soldier Hughes you put into my care, that you have not provided me with?

He is scaring the staff and other patients here. With those empty eyes and the screaming nightmares that has him calling out for Murph, Sean and someone we haven't quite made out.

I can find no record of a Sean in the regiments that you provided me with and from the papers you sent me. I'm assuming Murph is Corporal Patrick Murphy who is a member of regiment 4 ICA mu who is missing presumed dead in Cork.

Has there been no further info on how soldier Hughes can be identified. As a first name will help me with my care of him.

As far as I understand he was found in the ruins of a remote village in Cork after a airman spotted the burning village from the air.

The names found on the 2 sets of dogs tags around his neck have not created any response from him.

I assume the trauma which has put him in this state is due to the Bulgarians as a few bodies were found in the village ruins.

The wound on his shoulder is healing well but there is no sign of a tattoo of a bird in flight that you mentioned. But this could have been erased by the injury.

If you have any further information that could help me that would be appreciated. As I fear a lobotomy may be required to erase the memories causing his state.

Kind regards
