DEAR CITIZENS...

Day 1,247, 10:07 Published in Switzerland Switzerland by Rican

I am leaving the SRC and joining the SNP !
I am only joining to help… perhaps to act as liaison to the SRC and to work with the Party President on special projects.
I completely support Party President Thetis Achelous in his effort to bring the SNP back to it’s previous days of glory as the oldest and strongest party in Switzerland. I am only here to help all of you towards that goal. Please be patient with me. Many of us will hold opposite views and only patience can lead to discussion and resolution.

It is not my intention to create a rubber-stamp copy of the SRC. I will adhere to the SNP manifesto. I would like to help increase membership, and to open up communication and the development of ideas with existing members.

I promise you that none of this is for my own personal aggrandizement, but for the betterment of Switzerland as a whole. I have no political aspirations beyond that of congress. I’m an idealist and an optimist. I wish to fight only for democracy, liberty and equality.

I wish to say that I have never had a problem with the SNP… only with a couple of individual members. I truly see the benefit of a two party system. In such a system ideas can be exchanged and maybe even improved upon through open communication and discussion. It is not necessary that the two parties always agree with each other. What is important is that they both work wholeheartedly for their country and without ulterior motives.

I want to invite all of you to PLEASE join the Swiss Forum, eHelvetia.
http://forum.ehelvetia.ch/index.php
A private section is being developed for party sensitive matters.
You can speak in whatever language you want to. That will be our Parliament and that is where we can openly and honestly exchange ideas and make some decisions.

I hope for a new day of fights and arguments over ideas and programs… not for silly personal bickering over personalities. Those battles have led us once again to a divided Switzerland and a loss of our regions. It is imperative that the two parties work together to regain our regions AND to find a way not to lose them again. The eWorld sees Switzerland as a country divided by opposing forces. As such we are vulnerable to all of the bullies. United we can make a place for our country as a strong member of eRepublic.
