There are about 10 members who have each other's back. Others are like the third wheel. Forums discriminates newer members. Yes, I have one but refuse to it because it is unfair. I have been offered about 50 grand for votes. NO Kidding, if only this is real life, I would have retired. I was forced out of the ballot last time. Now election are held in secret? Wow?

I would say that nearly every organization has it's core of members who protect each other and their grips on power. So, I am not at all surprised about that, just surprised that you think it might be otherwise.

Never mind the fact that I already have an account to use but let say, I did not for the sake of argument. Two steps have to have happened before I can vote. 1. I need to register and wait 24 hours. So it is too late now. Plus the leadership has to approve me before I can vote. So, the leadership can delay the approval of members who seem rebellion to their power. #Unfair.

OK, so if I understand it, your party will admit every person who applies, and will do so on an immediate basis. That might lead to a situation where your party faces tactical infiltratio0n, but it may not be a problem in the long run. I would think any socialist party would be in favor of a bit of creative chaos, but I can understand their sense of self preservation. I think this is going to be a matter of experience and the use of wisdom in finding a fair balance.

I have sent all members of SFP that ran only ingame for congress the information how to declare their run on our forums so they could be in the primaries. I have been watching my mail the whole day. One registered and I had activated the account within 30 minutes and gave access to the members only forums too. Access is given with 24 hours normally, but it can happen faster, there is no 24 hours waiting time..
All members with forums access can be active on our primaries until it closes at the 23rd.

As to the charge that the party encourages bribes, I have to say that I have never seen anything like that. You already know my views on vote buying. I do not approve. When I have seen bribes being offered, it has been by a member running, and I think disapproved by the party per se. I take into consideration the fact that someone wants to bribe their way into office, and always ask myself why. I do not take, nor do I offer bribes, so, for me, the best policy is to ignore the issue and hope the voters know better.

I am unsure of any policy where voting takes place in secret. Could you explain how that is happening? Secret ballots are fundamental to a functioning and fair system of politics as well as government. I know you understand this concept, but your message speaks of something quite a bit different. I would be happy to know about the problem.

In the 7 plus years I have been in SFP I have never been offered money by anyone seeking any position in the Party or seeking Congress.

I'm not trying to dump on you or anything I mean no malice. However I mean not practical in you would need over 67 members to bump We The People out of their Top 5 spot to get on the ballot as a new party.

Who was forced off the ballot? How? When?

Nobody was forced of the ballot for the congress. For the PP election it was asked to retire from the party president elections (without any threat or bribe) to bring the vote between the two main candidates (chickenguys and TheNorm). That is all what happened.

So, you term limited yourself. Seems reasonable.

This leaves the issue of how the rules are being changed. I haven't been involved in party politics for long, so I am unaware. Which rules are being changed?

Let's address these claims/demands, shall we?

1. NO FORUMS
---How do you propose we hold fair Congressional primaries without the use of a forum? How do you propose we have in-depth discussions about the Party without the use of a forum? How do you propose we organize ourselves without the use of a forum? A forum is an easy-access option for us to make decisions together. All members are invited to join, there's a link on the My Party page. Quite frankly, if someone's looking to get involved and aren't willing to move their mouse and click a few keys probably isn't that serious about getting involved to begin with.

2. NO Bribes
---The only people bribing in this party are Chickensguys and any goons he may have.

3. No forcing candidates off the ballot
---No-one has EVER been forced off the ballot in the SFP. It's actually impossible to do that with game mechanics. What HAS happened is, in order to combat a PTO threat, people have been asked to drop out and back the front runner. Nobody's obligated to do so.

4. A New discord will be created - link coming up on Saturday.
---For what purpose? There's a perfectly good Party Discord already.

5. Election will be done in game ONLY.
---The only "election" that happens outside of www.erepublik.com are Congress primaries that dictate the order of the in-game Congress list. If we keep this to 100% in-game, the only person who would have input in the priority list would be the Party President - pretty undemocratic if you ask me.

Conclusion:
Quite frankly, this strikes me as poorly thought-out opportunism. You have no real complaints, you're just taking minor issues (that aren't really issues) and warping them to fit a narrative you've invented. I've lost considerable respect for you over the past few days which will take quite a bit to regain. You're beginning to behave similarly to Chickensguys.

I agree with lots of your points Dillon. However tef1 said he will start a new party in three days. That he will start a discord channel for that party makes sense.
I think we should try to include the no forums users that are members of our party. It has been done before that people that hadn't access to our forums (willingly or not) that they could vote in the party feed and were included later on our forums. Also we could include the ones that run ingame for congress in our primaries by having them declaring in the party.
