Hello everyone!

Today I’m happy to announce that I will be running for president. It has been a long journey to today; many, many terms as MoE, quite a number of terms in the other ministries. Through the years, I have seen many presidents come and go, from Windfall to Pizzarayne, Vijaykrishna to Eraclev. Each of these presidents terms was special in their own way, they made their own impact on eIndia. Most of them aren’t here today, but eIndia keeps on going.

We are smaller today than four years ago, but the important thing is that we are pretty much alive. Our community is still going strong, our players still make their mark in battles. We have great allies backing us up and there is undoubtedly potential in our ranks. It is my hope to take eIndia forward, make new things happen and keep us going strong for the years to come. The things I hope to achieve during my term is listed here. All your views on the same are welcome.

Making India Great Again

eIndia had in her ranks hundreds of active players and that number has dropped to only a few dozen today. This doesn’t bode well for the future of our country, as less activity tends to have a snowball effect, leading to more people quitting. However, many accounts of old players still exist. Most players simply need a good motivator to return. We hope to provide this motivator in the form of war games with Pakistan.

A concerted push for the war games will be made. In parallel, a program will be launched on multiple platforms including Facebook, Skype and WhatsApp to get back in touch with older players. A war, with our oldest rival, might be just what it takes to get a number of individuals to return to the game, making eIndia stronger in the longer run.

Additionally, a newbie retention program will be put in place. New and emerging players will be assigned to more experienced players. This, in turn will lead to more players staying around for longer periods of time.

Media leaderboards



A media leaderboards, similar to the IAF leaderboards will be instituted. People can earn points by writing articles. The number of points will be determined on many factors including upvotes, endorsements, discussion generated by the article and the overall quality of the work. At the end of each week, the leaderboards will be announced and food rewards will be given out to those who earn the most points.

Competitions




Over my term, renewed focus will be put on organizing and running competitions of various types to stimulate activity. Some of the competitions which we hope to implement are as follows

Mega competition: eIndia is a small community, largely unknown in the eWorld, except to a handful of countries. We hope to change this by organizing a mega competition, one with an interesting premise and big prizes. Through this initiative, we hope to draw more international attention to our country and hopefully, bring more people to join our community.

Mini competitions: Over the next month, various competitions will be organized, either by the government or other citizens. Congress members have the option to organize competitions and sponsor the prizes in place of donating money after getting elected.

Weekly house draw: Every weekend, a house draw will be held. Anyone can enter and the fee will be a 100 cc endorsement. The winner will be chosen by a draw and will get a Q1 house.

Military competition: A proposal to start a competition in the area of military battles is being considered. Houses and weapons will be among the rewards offered for fighters who excel on the battlefield.

Government



In the area of governance, greater emphasis will be placed on getting more people into government. All players - from the experienced to the new ones will be invited to take part in the cabinet. The old system of vice-ministership will be reconstituted for the Defense and Foreign ministries. New players will be placed under more experienced ones in this arrangement. Through this, we hope to quickly train the next generation of players in the business of government.

The Ambassador program will also be revived. This program aims to be a win-win for both the country and the player. As an ambassador, the player can learn more about a new country, make new friends and invaluable connections. At the outset, relations between the two countries improve significantly.

In the area of accountability in government spending, concrete efforts will be taken to keep reliable records of Indian revenues and expenditure. This information will be provided to any trustworthy citizen who requests for it.
