[Planning] Japanese Elite Military Unit
Songtsan Gampo
Sooner or later the Wig's will make another challenge with the possibility of challenging Military Units to race for Elite Status. I was away from the game when these competitions were held so I might need some help in the comments regarding criteria.
I suggest all members of the Japanese community join one Military Unit when such an event takes place we will be ready. I suggest the Military Unit be named after the Special Forces of Japan. We can put it to a vote. We are a super small country so I believe this is the only solution. We should act now rather than later.
UPDATE FROM ADMIN
Hello Aosama,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Please note that these are no longer available in the game.
They were awarded for a past competition many years ago.
We're here in case we can assist with anything else.
Best Regards,

What were the criteria for Elite Military Units? I was away. We should act now... as we are without one.
You'd want to review Latest Updates (currently p 27 and 26, multiple entries and updates. see Day 2,002 and Day 2,072 specifically) for the original events details and subsequent "tweaks".
The greatest benefits those Elite MUs gained are
1. Ability to set orders anywhere irrespective of MPPs or MU citizenship
2. An Organization under sole control of the MU Commander (Country President, Dictator, nor any other entity do not have access)
3. Shiny medal
That aside, Admin continue to despise Organizations as a rule and have not consistently been helpful or forthcoming about said Organizations. Dirty laundry.
Color me surprised, Thanks Rainy
For this to work, it has to provide some personal benefit to each player..
JUDO is benefit enough, also the command chain in the Military Unit will likely be actives (spread across time-zones) and that could be a change for some of the dead MU's here.
Elite MU's is Team speak, and Advanced Country Management. Daily Orders can be set to any battle world-wide. If people are not Team/Alliance players... only looking out for their own personal interest nothing will work and we will continue to be an unimportant country.
I have trouble understanding your last sentence..
eJapan is important to me, it does not have to provide me to increase its importance
personal gain = / = team objectives
Elite is the part of game mechanix?
Yes. But limited to a special event/competition to win such a status.
Do you have examples of elite mu? Links of MU I mean.

Oh my... Will the event be international? So you will need to compete with such monsters. It's HUGE!
It might be country specific or international... idk the criteria so that is why I asked for someone with more knowledge to respond. It could be quite a challenge yes. But still unsure.
I was busy paving roads at the time.
Mhm.. when the occasion comes we can discuss this.. from what I see this may never happen again
I sent the Wig's a ticket asking for info.
Btw it is best to plan ahead rather than have a clusterf**k in short period of time.
If such an event would happen, I will help with that.
I mean with 30-40 accounts in house we should just consolidate
Then why did you leave the MU that we attempted to build and instead made your own?
I was hired not fired
Also the ww2 theme is so passé
So I will be able to set DOs to comrades to fight in Sindh.
Best reason!
It may sound harsh, but what's the point in another military unit?
For example, 90% of combat units in the game seem to copy each other. Even the banner, and even then almost one to one, is similar to other banners in the country. Sorry of course, but there are not only three colors in the world.
During the Sengoku period, each house had its own banner, and this mattered. And what is the point of creating the same thing, naming it differently? Previously, military units were more diverse.
Sorry if I offended anyone.
We would likely use an existing Military Unit, and just dog-pile in.
Most people here are in their own cliques and probably never will agree to work together as a team.
This article was mainly a inquiry in what we are capable of and it is unlikely that this country will ever be a unified force.
The world of people is so arranged. Whatever you do, there will always be those who are against and it doesn’t matter if it’s good or not. Don't give up just because someone doesn't agree with you. What matters is how much you want it and how much effort you're willing to put into it. Good luck, I hope you don't turn half way.
Most successful countries have more organization as their treasury/citizens demand it.
Each person in eJapan pursues his own goal. And their goals are completely different, from the usual fun to the simulation of politics. Of course, you can gather faction leaders (military and political) and discuss any general ideas on the organization of the country (I have doubts that this is interesting most of the faction leaders). Also, any reorganization can cause an even greater split in our society. In our country, the average level of inhabitants is 112, which means that almost all of them belong to one faction or another. Reorganization can be more successful when there are many new residents and they are not yet "attached" to the factions and the departure of one of the factions from the country (it must be remembered that we have a World team and only a few speak Japanese) will not lead to large human losses.
Sarino I guess we will always have factions because they are hard coded into the top-five party mantra. Unless of course we were Saudi Billionaires than we would petition the site to make authoritarian rule.
Many residents of our country do not care who will be the president, people are not interested in the political life of the country. There are 169 active residents in the country, we open the election results tab and see "Total votes: 47".
The party elections have slightly more "Total votes: 64" out of 169.
Admin keeps false number. In reality 47 is much closer to reality... higher than what I expect, but better than several other small microcosms here.
It is surprising but we are doing rather well population-wise with other competitors.
This means that there are even fewer people left than I thought. Mortality in the country is one of the key problems. Compared to countries where the majority of the population is made up of people of the same ethnic group, they can replenish the human resource by inviting friends from social networks. We cannot allow this because of the loss of statehood. In other words, if let's say a citizen (let it be from Romania) invites 100 people to eJapan, let 70 people remain, sooner or later they will seize power in the country. After that, Japan will become a vassal of eRomania and this will destroy our country in the bud.

i must ask this, cant e-japan form a MU and elevate it to ''Elite Status''? in order to become an Elite Military Unit...
(unless this was only during that old event, and strong MU's can no longer reach that special elite status.)
in that case, you could always buy an existing MU with elite status and repurpose it for e-japan...
just saying my two cents in here.
I don't believe admin will make another competition
