Day 4,809, 12:42 Published in Ireland Ireland by Irish Department of Defence

A brief flurry of excitement at the start of the week occurred as the CP of the Netherlands Weekstrom launched an Airstrike proposal on Ireland that seemed to promise an tussle with Shawtyowl, Rainy Sunday, Peter Pan, Tinkerbell and the other residents of that nation but it came to nothing as the proposal was voted down.

The side effect of that was that with Argentina and Asteria coming to blows again and the likely end of our TW with the former, we were casting our net for a replacement nation to sit in Mayo for some ping-pong action. The UAE and the Dutch were the two favored names but the troll proposal shutdown the supporters for the Dutch option and the UAE emerged triumphant as they seemingly tend to do quite a lot!

Having taken Mayo via an airstrike, the Dáil Éireann is now voting on the NE proposal that will start that particular accord.

So what does the local Irish Strategic road map look like now?;

We carry on with our 4 local 'ping-pong' wars in addition to the TW being hosted by our Pacifician allies Finland over in the Baltic and for those of you following the news the short-term status of Belfast and it's attendant region has also been regulated in the Bushmills agreement

So after all this movement and discussion the standing orders are actually unchanged as we retain an optimum local set-up with manageable determinations and whilst our Airstrike bar remains full, we currently have no developed plans to use it.
