A word from the editor (me)

These newpapers are fantastic tools for getting your own personal and political opinion out into the ether of the erepublik. I like the idea of being able to expose injustice in the eworld but I also think newspapers should make a big noise when someone does something really well.

I do, however, have a massive, humongous, gigantic and colossal problem with people using these things to have a blatant pop at someone else just because they don't like the cut of their jib. I really hope that I can keep away from that kind of crap.

Regions

At the moment over on the forums there is some discussion going on regarding local councils. From what I can gather the main crux of the debate is whether they work or not and is it worth giving them funding. Regional councils should be used to arrange entertainment, create a sense of community and in my humble opionion gather views and hold local congresspersons to account.

Right, I'm not running for congress, I wouldn't know where to start. As I live in the ewales region I will be casting my vote for a candidate who has given me a little advice on how to play the game and pointed me in the right direction when lost. I shall be voting for:

TUP candidate Portia Emerest.

Other candidates are available but she has been the only person in my opinion (which may not count for much) actively helping in the ewales community.

And finally....

I'm quite keen on the idea of getting a newspaper hub going. Different contributors and papers working together to bring the best opinions, news and stuff to the eworld. If your interested drop me a line.

No wannabe Daily Mail journos though.
