Join the new world

Well it is another new month in the world of politics in the eUS. We have a new CP elected on the 5th (congratulations to Oblige) and yesterday every party across the country elected new PPs. With the PP elections yesterday, we effectively struck RGR and his PTO once more and we take one more step on the path to freeing the eUSA. With such a promising CP and such promising candidates to lead our political parties, and with the anticipation of a congress in 10 days, things are finally starting to look up for the eUSA. We are finally starting to make progress.



That is what I wanted to talk to you about today my fellow American Citizens. Progress. I joined this game in the heat of a PTO and with an impending invasion looming over the head of my country. I joined this game while being bombarded by dozens of messages every day trying to convince me to join one party or another, trying to convince me where I belong and what I should do. For about a month, I struggled with this, and that is when a good in-game friend of mine talked to me about starting a new political party. He talked to me about this party and at first I just thought "Why would I do this? Why would I leave the top 5 parties and go somewhere that can't really do anything?"



Well America, I got my answer. Quite simply, it is where I belong. There's not much I can do to help parties like the Feds, WTP, AMP, or USWP. Parties like that, they are already awesome. They don't need my help to be awesome. Smaller parties though, that is where I belong, that is where I feel like I can do the most to help this country and her people. So, after some thought and discussion, I joined the Independent American Party.



The IAP is quite simply, a party dedicated to fighting for the benefit of the eUSA and her allies wherever they may be. We're here to change America, and we're here to stay. We want what is best for this country and her people and we are willing to do whatever it takes to get it. Our party consists of new and old players. We have players who have seen the other side and who have just begun to play. We are a party dedicated to the American people, no matter how old, no matter how experienced, no matter what. We are dedicated to America.



The IAP started a little under two months ago, as a dream to change the country during its time of crisis. Over the past few months the party has been tiny and irrelevant. We've had no serious membership gains aside from a few dedicated members. We've had no serious involvement in the government. We've lost several members due to inactivity. Simply put, our party hasn't been doing so hot lately.



With this past PP election though, I have a chance to change that. Earlier I said, I'd joined the IAP because I thought it was where I belonged. Well this is why I belong here. I belong in the IAP because it is the place that I can do the most for this grand ol' country of ours. My fellow party members can attest to the amount of work that I put into this party; they can tell you how many hours I spend working on getting things done for this party and for this country, and I can tell you how long they spend doing the same thing.



Earlier I told you how poorly our party was doing lately. Our PP went inactive, we lost one of our most dedicated players to a family crisis, we were scrambling to clean up after our spokesman left for his old party. Everything about our little party was horrible. Now we've picked up the pieces and this month, with a new PP and an even more dedicated team we're going to hit the ground sprinting, and we'll keep sprinting despite the broken legs we get from hitting the ground sprinting 🙂. (it might hurt a little though, but we'll do it anyway because we love you all)



This month the Independent American Party is introducing an all new program for us. We're going to be awarding the best authors from all around the eUSA. This month we'll be introducing the IAP Media Awards. The media module just doesn't appeal to some people in game. People don't realize how fun it can be to get that media mogul award. So to inspire all the young authors of the eUSA to get into the action and to keep the media veterans interested, the IAP is going to be giving out prizes to the best authors all around the country. Here are the rules to our Media Awards, I wish you all the best of luck in your efforts to become the best media mogul in the eUSA and the eWorld.

IAP Media Awards

Award Categories:
-Best Party Article
-Best Department Article
-Best Individual Article
-Best IAP article

Eligibility Requirements:
1) Party Article-Article must be written in support of the authors political party
2)Department Article-Article must be written in support of a department of the eUSA government (ex: DoI, DoE, DoHS, etc.)
3) Individual Article-Article may be written about ANY topic, but must receive a minimum of 50 votes to qualify and may not be officially linked to a party or department. (ex: A DoE member writes an analysis of new DoE programs. This analysis would not be considered officially linked to the DoE, so it would be eligible for the Individual award)
4) IAP Article-Article may be written about any topic, but the author MUST be a member of the IAP

General Information on the Awards:
-members of the PTO aren't eligible to win the awards (this includes members of the AFA and AED)
-The Party, Department, and Individual articles may be written by ANY citizen of the eUSA not associated with the PTO
-Awards will be posted in an article written once a month by the PP of the IAP on the 14th
-Award terms are the 16th-14th of the months (PP term)
-Honorable mentions (runner-ups) will be mentioned in the article as well
-All Award winning articles and honorable mention articles will be linked in the announcement article by the PP
-Award winners will receive 100USD as a reward for the excellence of media and as incentive to continue their awesomeness
-No article may receive more than 1 award
-1 author may receive multiple awards IF the awards are given to separate articles
-Winners will be determined by IAP party leadership
-only articles meeting eligibility requirements will be considered for the awards

In addition to our Media Awards, the IAP wants to recognize the great players in the eUSA, the elite of a different kind. Everyone knows the stories of the Great Warrior Ape and Largo the Legend. They are elite players, but they aren't the kind of elite that I want everyone to know about. I wanted to take a little time out of this article to recognize the players who make this game enjoyable for the newest around. I wanted to recognize all the players that I have seen to truly care about the new breed, so here are the IAP honored players

Honored Players from IAP membership

Kadyn-Founder. He worked to create this party from scratch. He is now inactive due to very unfortunate real life events, but he will be remembered for his work with newer players who joined the party.

Rupert Hallamer-Founder. He helped Kadyn to create this party and works still to keep it alive juggling party affairs with his responsibility to this nation.

DylanBAS-Former Spokesman. He worked hard to help the party really get on its feet with everything from our party platform to the first really excellent media of the party. He is no longer with the party as he has gone back to the Feds, but he was a valued member of this party and we are lesser without him.

Lex Talbot-Current VPP. He joined later than several of our parties leaders, but he is valued none the less. He has helped to organize supply programs within the party, worked hard to develop tools to assist the DoE, and works hard still to keep this party alive.

Longhunter-Member. He helped to revive the faith we had in this party. He joined as a new player and began working to help keep the party alive immediately. He is now inactive due to real life, but we thank him for his help.

bulldog___2015-Current Councilor. He is our newest member and came to this party to help friends in need. He is a welcomed member of the team.

Honored Players from outside IAP membership

Othere-A person dedicated to their work. Othere helped many of our newest players in their earliest days, and still continues helping people to this day. They also helped our very own Rupert Hallamer to begin his political career in the eUSA and for that we thank you.

Oblige-Thus far he is the best CP we have had in my own opinion (I joined part-way through Artela's term). Despite his busy schedule and huge work load he always has at least a minute or two to help out a struggling player or simply listen to what people have to say. Keep up the great work.

Mercurius100-He is one of the most devoted people I know. He works every day sending messages to new players and working hard to help everyone with everything they can. Merc, you are truly instrumental in the survival of this country, whether anyone knows it or not.

Thern Alpha-A player almost as dedicated as Mercurius100. He works hard at personal loss in order to supply new players with weapons and food when they need it. He has given hours upon hours of devoted hard work to his MU and every new player he has yet encountered. He is a valued player to this country and a valued friend to myself.

These players are a different kind of elite. They show America what it truly means to be a member of this country, and if we were to lose any of them, the eUSA would surly suffer.



That is what we bring for you America. This is how we're going to fight for you. We're going to just shine awesomeness all over you until everyone in the country can wear a shirt that says "Warning: You may go blind from my pure awesomeness." (Largo, can I borrow some awesome sauce?) We're here to fight for you America, so come fight with us. Join the IAP today!
