[GIMP5EVER] GIMP - an opportunity or a waste of money?

Day 5,295, 12:30 Published in USA USA by Bomb Squad

Fellow Americans,

Recently some concerns were raised regarding GIMP, and to be more specific - does the program encourage young citizens to improve and help them?
Let me show you the perspective of an old but young (long years of inactivity) citizen.

From my prespective, GIMP has several advantages:
The rank up bonus is significant - it is relatively easy to rank up as a low rank fighter, and the CC bonus helps you build your account. While the bonuses for the higher ranks are larger, it is harder to rank up, hence the overall expanses does not get too large.

It gives you an actual chance at making profit from the combat module - sooner or later, you will find yourself in a low strength, high division situation. Once you get to div 4, it is practically impossible to hunt a BH medal, as someone will just go on and steal it, unless you put THOUSANDS of energy into it, and the reward is not worth it.
The air module is a completely different story - theoretically, you can buy 1 gazillion energy bars and become equal with the strongest citizens. Here comes the dilema - what motivates you as a newer player to waste money on food and weapons on air fighting if it is so demanding to rank up? THE ANSWER IS GIMP!
Personally, I went from aviator to WC3 just because of it.

The contribution to the USA total air damage is significant - the major tanks will inflict significant damage without GIMP, but GIMP helps the masses inflict a significant amount too. Just think about it - assume that 50 out of last week's 69 applicants drop 20k damage (FF amounts) in a single round, the 1M damage you get is exactly the same amount that a tank drops by wasting TONS of EBs.

Can the program be shaped differently? probably. Should rank bonuses and payment caps for higer ranks should be lowered? possibly. One thing is certain - The program should go on!

To sum up - look at GIMP as an investment, and from the perspective of a younger citizen - it pays!
