[CP]Serving Another Term

Citizens of eUSA,

Greetings to you, and salutations from the Office of the President.

Today I write to you about the immediate future. I am running for another term as your President.




First I’d like to mention a few of our accomplishments from the past month.

We have secured two concession agreements with our northern neighbors in Canada. These concessions will allow us to benefit financially, increase our National Weapons bonus to a full deck for the first time in eUSA history, improve our relations with a crucial neighbor, and increase the amount of Country Currency we are able to withdraw from our National Treasury. These concession agreements are a monumental achievement, especially considering our past history of animosity with Canada.

We have participated in a military operation with Iran. This is also a landmark step. Just a few months ago Iran was participating in wiping us off the map, so for us to be cooperating in military maneuvers with them represents a major diplomatic achievement. It has also increased the respect we are given on the international stage. This was another big victory.

We have maintained the activity momentum during the month of August, notoriously the sleepiest month in the eRepublik year. Our Forum activities have been punctuated by the best Press Briefings our Government has ever seen. We’ve encouraged an increase in activity amongst a number of returning players and have set ourselves up for a really great September.

We have conducted a thorough review of all Government orgs, inventorying them, resetting passwords where needed, and organizing our records for future administrations. This is not sexy work, but it is necessary.

We have taken actions to increase our military strength. Some of these actions are top secret. Congress knows.

We have accomplished much. And we have one surprise left for this term...




We have also prepared some plans to make September another great month in eUSA.

We are working on several new Training War partners which we hope to announce in the coming weeks. Increasing the number of nations with which we conduct Training Wars stimulates our economy, strengthens our national military strength and rank, and expands our influence in the international stage.

We are working on a new Fantasy Fighter League. This is an all-new revamp of the once-popular Fantasy eMilitary Unit from years ago. If you’ve ever played Fantasy Baseball or Fantasy Football in real life, you will be familiar with the concept. In Fantasy Fighter League, you will be drafting citizen fighters whose weekly damage statistics will compete with the damage statistics accumulated by those citizens drafted by your competitors. Prizes will be won. Fun will be had.

We have been and continue to work on several fine details of our current NAP with Asteria. Our State Department needs to be prepared to discuss these terms with Asteria because the current terms of the NAP are going to expire in two months. Our goal is to maximize the benefits we have while increasing our favorable standing with our Training War partners.

Finally, a few notes from my head and heart.

This first month has proven that we have a very highly-functioning team of leaders in place who are capable of keeping eUSA moving into a positive future. Most of that list of items above is there because others have been doing great work. I take responsibility for some of the bigger decisions that have been made, and I am part of the front lines in our Foreign Affairs efforts. But this team of Cabinet members, staff, and advisors are the huge reason we are doing so great.

I also enjoy doing this. A friend in this game wrote the following words to me over chat:

“Some people like winning elections but don’t want to rule after they’ve won.”

I do like winning elections, but I like leading leaders even more. I like working with people who are motivated to make things happen on behalf of others. That’s what kind of government I am promising you, a government filled with people who enjoy serving you.
