The Order of the Dragon
Stargazer89
The Order of the Dragon was Medieval military order.. History says that it was founded in Europe in 15th century,as a shield against enemies of the Cross. Founders of the order were nobles from many countries including Serbia,Hungary,Poland,Lithuania... These are all historical facts, and there is a lot more..
But,when I think of the Order and its members,I see an elite group of fighters, charging into battle on the back of a horse(or even better,a DRAGON),without fear, ready to give their lives for what they believe in and for the GLORY..
Since this is,mostly,a war game I decided to name my newspaper Societas Draconistrarum.. I would like to honor those who once were a part of the Order of the Dragon,or any other order,by telling stories of great battles and great sacrifices. I am not trying to create a fighting force;that's way this is not the name of a military unit.. What I am trying to create is a group of readers who share my interests and my passion for the age of battle, glory and above all - HONOR!!
Join me on this path,by subscribing. This article is just a first step towards those dark ages, where we may walk among giants, among dragons.. But as far as we carry a dragon's fire in our hearts,we will not be lost!!
Thank you for your time.. 😃

Hmm...the first association to the name of the Order was Dracula ( thanks to the Hollywood xD ) I remember that they mentioned in the movies that he was a member of that order. Looking forward to your articles😁
yeah,he was.. his name was Vlad Cepes, and he probably needed help fighting off turkish invasion forces,so he became a member.. Dracul means 'son of the dragon'.but you probably know that.. 😃
Also know as Vlad the Impaler. And yes I know some basic info about him, like many others thanks to the Dracula movies xD
Svaka ti dala
