Anyway here is some ideas I had for erepubik i changed the title from roadmap to wishmap as I am not involved in erepublik.


1. Cloning - well this would be just an adaption of what plato have done with the terrain mode. One of the bugbears of erepublik are the use of multies. The argument they do it so we have to do it - just mean for player that dont use it multies could steal their medals etc etc . anyway multies bad mckay



Lets just think of a clone like a multi but one that other players can see. multi without the l is muti and means medicine in most african languages. So muti for this game. But how:

Easy a clone will be like a org a limited player and built from the original account. Multies still wont be allowed.

How:
1. Experience distribution - the original account donates experience to the clone account. So say I am level 577 I donate 77 levels to the clone. But dont get to do level based missions over. Based on the levels donated the clone belongs to a division as per the normal rules. So I can create a 1 level clone in division 1 if I wanted.
2. Strength distribution - the original account donates strength from its account to the new account. In other words loses strength . It is however limited by the number of levels the clone has. Plato can figure out the equation. Clones can strength train though.
3. Limitations - clones cant participate in politics and the media. For obvious reasons. No voting no running for congress or CP or whatever. No articles as well this is not part of a clone account.
4. All accounts are controlled from 1 login - Windows programming have tabs that usually causes a lot of problems but similarly the player will jump from account to account using tabs or buttons or whatever. (in other words stuff plato have to figure out)
5. How many clones? I would say max 3 this will allow player fighter in each division. Or leave number open. Player are weakening his account by cloning.
6. Clone of clone. No
7. Economic participation. There are no economic channels from the clone to the original account. Yes the clone can buy factories from the original account but clones are hard-wired so they cannot donate money/items or receive donations/items from the original account. If this is allowed it would create chaos. Clones similarly cannot sell or buy from the original or other clones accounts . But the clone can using packs /gold /and normal economic activities build up a seperate economic empire. In the long run players would be able to use different clones for different things and participate on a bigger scale on both warfare and factories. If i work in all my factories i cannot fight using normal .
8. Clones cannot donate money or items or receive money or items. They are limited to the markets for their economic activity. This is to prevent abuse of the system. Else I donate to friend money who donate to the clone.
9. Clones cannot work for the master account.
10. Clones can buy gold but cannot sell gold. They also can only see the first page of the gold buying marketplace. They cannot buy gold from the master account ever. Again this is to stop abuse.
11. Clones cannot comment or endorse articles. Because again this can be abused.
12. Clones can befriend other players and post only market offers in the shoutbox. When pasting the offer a simple visual banner will post items offered /quantity items / amount per item. The clone can select a banner type message to accompany the offer like _cheapest on the market_buy them before their gone_cheap weps/food or whatever.
13. Tag em. Clones have a double tag when a players mouse hovers over their name. The clones account and 2 the account of the master .
14. if a player abuses the clone system by using banned scripts or exploits the clone is deleted and the original strength and experience of the clone are written back to the original account.
15. Clone accounts can be switched off at will. Original strength and experience is returned . Account is stored in archive tab and can be reactivated as player feels. In short if life gets hectic and one want to play at a lower pace.

Did I forget anything. Just comment.

2. Allow mass disposal of companies. Yesterday I moved all of my companies in the USA out of it. Although I could in mass assign them to other companies . I sold quite a few 8500 companies to pay for the move. Thanks for the Irish government for the sponsorship of bigger companies I will return this to Irish people in the future. But anyway I had to sell them one by one. This is anyway part of my new strategy. I want to be as wam efficient as possible so saw I anyway had a shipload of 35 gold raw factories but kept a few in reserve to fund further expansion.

3. Update the article wysiwyg to allow for fonts and color text. In short allow players to jazz up their articles without resorting to text only articles ie with better font in a text.

4. Fix the youtube links. I investigated this for another project one can actually write a wrapper for youtube videos. Or whatever it is called.

5. Delete trade embargoes. JACKASS LAWs HAVE TO GO.

6. Remove the trade route requirement. Almost all big countries have shitty country bonuses but have all the required regions. Due to the simple trade route requirement. Lets recap Serbia is friends with Romania so they cannot build a trade route through their country can they? The only place trade routes somehow works is the USA because it is a big expanse . For europe its a disaster.

As stated. JACKASS LAWs HAVE TO GO.

7. Delete all trade restrictions. Make erepubik 100% open market. again this is just irritating if you constantly have to move companies around to cater to the warfare module. I know you will stop alliance wars. But just keep erepublik open market. This is the system in most of the world bar tarriffs etc. let me work each day where i want and let a tank fight everywhere he wants. fair is fair.

8. Delete all political restrictions. If a country is wiped dont limit its political activity. This will split the modules war/politics/media/economics. Non intruding on each other. This is a program oop states that a class is whatever the programmer wants it to be. There dont exist real people in programs only that which the programmer think is relevant. So it is easy bring incentives in the form of a points system plus of course the bonuses to each region captured. but the wiped country bonuses work as follows🙁original country bonus ) x 190/200 + real bonuses x 110 /200. if my calcs is wrong just comment in a bit of a hurry as we have loadshedding in an hour or 2. For each region the country capturing gets the bonuses added to its country bonus. Plus it gets points and there is a weekly leaderboard with the country's held points. Say 100 a region.

Let the small dogs play 10% nerfed will allow them the freedom to engage in warfare normally. Isn't it fun to think that we will soon occupy the USA permanently? But warfare against real adversaries builds drama, gameplay, and excitements. our current training wars are the pills you give to mental patients to sedate them.
