On May 30th, I contributed $1,000 to help start a RW in USA in the region Poitou Charentes. This was not supported by the NSC and I was almost Censured.

I've been playing this game for about 5 years now, and if there's 1 thing I've learned, it's to have fun. I'm not proud of everything I've said or done, but it's better I tell you the truth than someone else tell you a lie.

Because all this change with time and as I've grown up playing this game - Started when I was 14, in case you forgot. - I've learned many valuable life lessons that will shape me into a better person in the future. Just because we make mistakes does not mean we will repeat them.

If you were presented with the choice of doing both again, would you?
I don't really regret things I've done because I learned from them, but I would under no circumstances repeat either of these decisions, and although I do not "regret" them, I am sincerely sorry to all those who I let down, for those who trusted me and vouched for me I promise not to let you down in the future.

you've talked about learning from these things you've done, what have you learned?
I've learned no amount of money is worth your credibility.
I've learned not to lie to friends because when you lie to your friends, then you won't be trusted by them.
I've learned that every action no matter how small can have repercussions, such as clicking the RW button because you want a BH or 2.
Most importantly, I've learned that to be trusted, one must be loyal. So no matter how upset you are with anyone else or yourself, you must remember to be loyal.
There's also a ton more of small lessons I've learned but if you want, I can PM you that.

Very admirable of you to be so forward about this. From the discussion in the forums, it was clear that you ruffled quite a few feathers. But, I don't think many people legitimately believe you're a "traitor," or anything else that extreme. Personally, I'm glad you avoided being censured. It would have been an ugly mark on an otherwise great relationship between you and your adopted nation.

Speaking from a new player perspective, your indiscretions towards the eUS were an interesting read, (I've spent a cumulative total of about 3 hours catching up on eAmerica's history), and while I personally would never condone your actions, you were forthright and honest about what you've done. War Profiteering is hardly a new concept, in RL and in eRep, but when held in a position of leadership, (ie, Congressional Seat), one should never act for personal gain. It takes a real man/woman to stand up and admit their fallacies, however, and you have my respect for that. I'm sure there are others in positions of power right now who act for their own personal gain... the difference is, they weren't caught or they are really good at lying.
