Short comments on what have happened today:
Atlantis countries Spain and Romania have both won landslide victories in two separate wars, Southern Great Plain and Algarve. The Romanian vs. Hungarian war made the servers almost crash and in the conflict between Spain and Portugal the Spanish forces took up over 80 000 points in the final hours.
Despite several Peace GC nations as allies these two Peace GC nations failed their defence. Today it’s easy to say that both of them should have used diplomatic measurements, Hungary turned down a fair peace contract a long time ago and Portugal has conducted an aggressive stance against Spain for a long time.
Other news:
The Swedish currency SEK is rapidly gaining strength, from 0,019 Gold a couple of days ago its now back on more normal 0,023 Gold.
Germany is voting for another term of Trade Embargo against Sweden, this without any notification about it to the Swedish leaders what so ever. Are they doing it because?
a) Bad habits die hard
b) They hope that all Atlantis Countries shall put up a trade embargo against Germany
c) PEACE GC told Isy / DKN to do so
USA has realized that waging war can be both economically beneficial and fun. Since we are playing a game the fun aspect shall not be neglected. I say we can count on a more active US Army from now on compared to what we have seen lately.

Only a few small mistakes.
1. It wasn't a fair contract.
2. It's Spain versus Portugal, not Portugal versus Spain.
Oh and about the embargo, afaik your president has been contacted by Isy.
In other news, I lost 10 weapons while staring at "symphony exception" screens.

That's to say that we've been inactive militarily? We're becoming USA IRL imo.
Benn Dover is the US ex. president for those who doesn't know it. And he was threatened by a vote of no confidence by the largest political party in the eRep-world at time - the United States Worker Party - which all of a sudden during the french war got struck of pacifism.
So yes, Benn, I thought that USA would continue to be quite passive as you have been the last month. Especially considering Francos great robbery.

I don't get what you're saying - "Doesn't know" what? We have been fairly active as a nation with regard to military. Saying that we have been inactive is different from saying we SHOULD be inactive, which is true. We are becoming imperialists, and as you said, we have few funds to spend.

They spoke to me so i guess they didnt se any point to speak to our president. But they wanted us to free Syddanmark, by their expence, in exchange for not renewing the embargo. Not a good deal tough se here is the renewal.

LOL, that's only because I've exported a lot and haven't had the need to exchange SEK for GOLD in a week. Just wait until I throw in 35000 SEK to the monetary market again. 😉
Germany are still in voting progress regarding the new trade embargo while the old one have expired. I guess we'll see a lot of swedish companies taking the opportunity to export their goods to Sweden for the next 7 hours.
Reason for trade embargo?
I'd say a=20%, b=30% and c=40%, the remining 10% is just to make sure Sweden never forget how Germany ignored their road to independancy with massive support from PEACE.
@Benn: You really should teach all those newly born americans how to become real soldiers! I'd be happy to come over with Misho and set up a Boot camp and we might as well bring +600 Q1-weapons to make them feel dangerous. If they don't learn how to fight soon they will become "voting corps" and decide to take over Iran or something like that!

Yeah Ice, TP has been hard to reach recently.
So, what's so bad about these points?
-Sweden will free Syddanmark at Germany's expense (we'll pay for the RW, they just have to support it)
-Germany will let the embargo fall and resume free trade with Sweden
-Germany and Sweden will both sign NAPs with Denmark, and Germany and Sweden will sign NAPs with each other
It benefits eDenmark, eSweden and eGermany. It ends a conflict between our two countries and ensures peace (not the alliance) in Central Europe. Of course, it would cut back your imperialist movement a bit, sorry for that 😛
After all, this would be the best solution.
