Who are the oldest ePlayers that are with us today? -
- alexis bonte - certainly comes into that category. He is one of the survivors from the very first hours of the eRepubliks New World.
He registered on 20th November 2007 and is still active (sort of).
- titillica - has registered on 20th November 2007 and is still VERY active. Level 686, Legends of Romania: Han Solo Battalion IX etc....
The oldest citizen should be Admin (Plato). However, His records show that he was born June 4th, 2007. That makes him Superbeing - not a citizen of the New World. The eRepublik did not start until 20th November 2007... months later.
Admin/Plato existed before the World was created.
Admin published the first ever ''eRepublik Insider'' article on the first day of the New Wold, that is Day 1 - (21st November 2007).
In that article, Admin (Plato) states that:
It is the first day of Erepublik.com, beta version, and there are about 200 users who subscribed. They are from all the corners of the world (Europe, America, Australia) and they really enjoy playing Erepublik.
In its second article, ''Insider'' states:
24 hours after the launch here are the first stats :
- 332 invitations sent
- 145 opened
- 128 people clicked at least a link in the invitations
- 106 registered as citizens
- 86 of them sent 372 invitations bringing 106 new citizens
So, on the first day 106 people registered and they invited another 106 citizens (hmm... that is interesting - number of people from the first day were banned as multies)
Also, staff members of eRepublik have played actively in BETA version. They were called "Wigs". Term "wigs" was used to describe Admin and the eRepublik staff, (eRepublik downtime was referred to as a "wig party".... and there were a lot of "Wig Parties").
I'll try to answer the first question (in part).

**(not dead)** means that citizen does not have ''DEAD'' on his profile. However, there does not seem to be any activity going on.

From what I heard, Gabriel was the real first signed after Plato tests.
It seems admins changed the date of birth of Suspended just after his ban, to test something.
It seems titillica is the real oldest citizen still alive.

I've been following your articles on eUSA History Graphics. Well written and you seem to put a ton of work into it.

How about a top 100 list of oldest active players? if you feel up for the work,.. 😛
That would be nice, but that is a LOT of work. After looking at over 100 registered players, there was only 1 really active and one ''maybe'' active.
I hear ya.. It would be a major task, no doubt,.. Would likely have to go through the first couple thousand at least,.. Maybe if we talk about how cool it would be, for long enough, someone will volunteer,.. 😛

In the old days, the "dead" status is always right, you have just to check the few "alive" status to know if they are really alive or a game bug.
I use eRep Tools. As a Wiki editor, I find it an invaluable tool to find old players. (eRep search is useless.)
Your second point: it still applies today. "Dead" tag players are always dead. But there are many dead players that do not have "dead" tag on their profile.
