Advise on the new “Daily Challenge”

Day 5,260, 16:19 Published in Switzerland Switzerland by Swiss Dep. of Education

As some of you may have noticed (or if you are a new player), there’s a new update on the game, called “Daily Challenge”. It basically consists of a bunch of missions that, if completed within the “in game” course of the day (0hs to 24hs GMT-7), it rewards you with a bunch of small (but interesting) rewards:

This update comes to substitute the old “Daily Order” from the MU, and the “Daily Tasks”, added back then in 2011.
The Daily Challenge is located on the upper-left side of the main eRepublik site, under your profile stats and currencies:

After clicking on the Daily Challenge tab, you’ll find a pop-up such as the following:

As you may already see, on this tab you are going to find all the respective missions of the day. It’s important to say that the missions are EVERY day the same; they reset after a full 24 hours passes by (like mentioned before), but the missions objectives are ALWAYS the same and don’t vary.
The missions tasks can go from something easy and simple, like working, training or fighting; to something a little bit more complex, like producing materials, resources and assigning employees to your companies. Each of the missions are very self explanatory and aren’t hard to understand.
If you are a new player, with low levels of energy and with the basic companies, I recommend you go for the “Work”, “Train”, “Spend Energy”, “Fight in a Meaningful Battle”, “Buy Products” and “Exchange Currency” missions; respecting this last two I mentioned, have in mind that you can buy something simple and cheap, like 1 Q1 food, or exchanging your cc for just 0.1 gold, and you’re achieving this two simple tasks; also, for the “Travel” mission, you can travel somewhere close to your location, spending something around 20cc for each trip, and getting another goal done.

Now, let’s go to the interesting part, the rewards! Each mission completed will give you “Prestige Points” and “Daily Activity Points”:
Prestige Points, as some (or all) of you may already know, are required to fill the bar of the “Weekly Challenge”, which gives you rewards after reaching a certain number. If you manage to complete all of the 26 missions, you’ll get a total of 516 Prestige Points, which is also quite interesting regarding the Weekly Challenge.
Now, the Daily Activity Points are required to unlock the “Daily Reward Crates”, each of them containing cool rewards. The Daily Activity Points required to unlock each of the crates are 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100. As you see, there are a total of 5 crates unlockable. Again, as mentioned before, all of this resets day by day (points and crates), meaning you can get a maximum of 5 crates per day as reward.
The rewards of each of the crates are, just like the mission's objectives, every day the same (at least while I’m writing this post). This rewards can be fuel, raw materials, an energy bar… each depending on the crate unlocked :

Well, that’s basically it, I tried to cover every aspect of this new update that the team at eRepublik have for us the players. Hope you can find it useful if you’re a new player, or if you’re someone who doesn’t spend that much time at the game and want to be updated with a quick-read article. And if any of you have any questions, as the MoE of April for eSwiss, I put myself at your service to try to evacuate every enquiry that you may have.

Sincerely,
