For the last 48 hours, I have swallowed up not one but 9 battle hero medals. At the time of writing this article, I am still building up for future use, my guns that is. From farting around and saving my energy bars to traveling around the map, I want to share with you how I “won” the event and I hope you can take these tips and tricks and use them to your advantage in future events or other lollygagging.



Where to start

Plato stated that we could start wherever we wanted. “At the beginning of the event, you'll be able to pick any location as your starting point. Once your first location is unlocked, you'll only be able to choose from the locations which are directly linked to it, so plan your path wisely”.

So, I started on the west coast of eUS.



From the map, you can see I have traveled quite a bit and i'm working on going to a few spots along the way. I have no end-goal. Well, kinda.

My goal is to get as much of the 40-gold spots as I can. I want to win it all. However I discovered that these bombs and treats have value. So, naturally as a pirate I want them all.

I became greedy and started traveling and gathering the big and small bombs for my collection. But....how do i get them all?



As you can tell from this picture. I have a gnarly amount of energy and traveling at my expense. How i earned so much is easy peasy, really.

Right when this event first started, i knew we would need a large amount to “earn” “free” stuff around the eWorld. The first thing was I went on the battlefield, removed my weapons from my hands and killed people with my own two hands. I went nuckin futs and wasted away on my Q7 food and kept buying crap to survive.

Reader; But DSS, you have factories and have a bigger advantage, yes?

No, but yes. The first two days when this event popped up. The state my factories are in was liberated and I have no way of accumulating goods. My main and only source of income at the time was type in my comment in the daily CRAP feed where you got an x amount of USD.

I grind my way on the battlefield and try using as much energy as I could.

Secondly, travel wise I knew I would have to spend a lot of money, minus the travel tickets I earned which were a few. I also knew I needed a large amount of traveling on my belt to be able to accomplish what I needed. SO, with what I had at the time I traveled from the two furthest random points and that was Albina to Colorado and I did it a few times so I could start my traveling and farting around. That's when I began using my goods I have earned and slammed the battlefield with bombs



The first day I was able to truly let my fingers flow through my keyboard and began hitting on the battlefield. Thing is, I live on the west coast and am able to wait for reset while everyone is napping. Or, I'm playing against foreigners who tend to call me a gypse whenever I snag a medal under their nose.

Day two, I snagged another 5 medals for a grand total of 9 during this event. Yum! These medals taste good.

So, I worked on draining my energy quickly. That was the first thing. Next, I traveled from the furthest point in the came to max my possibility of traveling expenses. Each day I woke up, I searched three key areas by working my way down the coastline and splitting off to South America and then Africa and Europe. Then wait a few hours and collect my goods and add a few more points on my list to hunt.

My first goal was to get as much gold as I could then started working towards the big and then the small bombs.

Oh! And I tried snagging as much as those small treats too. Those treats helped me work at my factories so i wouldn't have to use up my food before I helped liberate my state.
