Good evening,

Been watching McGregor slaying that other guy last night, he’s the boss. The passionate way he talks, the glorious ways he win, it just reminds me of the Irish fighting spirit, good sense of humour and the Irish way of life. Those things were reasons why I came to this country 6 years ago, when I was a kid, teenager playing this game in some weird ways. While I grow up in real life the game grew up too. The game did worse than I did, much worse. Well, maybe not the game, but people who play this game definitely.

Lately, I started glorious project, something which would bring back all the memories, enthusiasm and the fighting spirit of the Irish. The glorious Irish Citizen Army. In few days we’ve recruited 15 soldiers, half of them were ICA members back then when this game was different, the other half will have to learn what ICA really is. A family. Something I was trying to create all this years with CrOmega and other projects. It worked very well, but it wasn’t the original. Now we’re back to origins and I’ve never been more sure about any of things I’ve been doing in this game so far.




The Irish Citizen Army has a strong meaning in real life and it took huge part of the Irish history. It was a group of volunteers who had the guts to say enough is enough. Larkin, Conolly and White were the ICA pioneers, lads who took huge part in Irish Easter Rising, an event which was one of the most fameous attempts to liberate Ireland from the British rule. It’s hard to think Ireland would be an independent state today if there wasn’t such people.

We could draw a line and find a link with the ICA in Erepublik. Founded by irishbhoy1967 and Joe Hitman on Day 784 it grew to one of the strongest MU’s in eWorld. Coming from a small country such as eIreland, it was a huge accomplishment. The ICA was the first Irish MU which had communes, first Irish MU which were able to change the outcomes of the battle. ICA was the reason we made our enemies sign peace with us. Without us giving them our regions. Except Northern Ireland.

Today we’re here to give Ireland another push, the ICA will be there for Ireland on the first line, we’ll be the ones who are going to bring back the old spirit of the Fighting Irish once again, we’ll fight for our ideals and be there for every fellow Irish citizen. Be the part of history. Join the family!

First 15 members of the ICA are giving me the hope to continue playing this game, just seeing those people here is worth playing, giving efforts for this country, this community and your family.

irishbhoy1967 - I’ll be honest, this guy made me stay in this game, he taught me to play this game, he gave me inspiration and motive to give myself and my own free time in something like Erepublik. Before meeting him I wasn’t playing this more than like half hour a day. He could easily be called as a role model person to meet. More than once he gave me his help, when I needed it the most. I was always trying not to disappoint him when making decisions.

TomislavRexCroatorum - He’s one of the rare lads I’ve met in real life, we had few drinks and a good laugh. When it comes to Erep, he’s one of the most pragmatic persons I’ve met, he was always calming me down when it was needed and he’s one of the founders of CrOmega. Ever since then he’s been playing this with me, our ways were rarely separated. I’m honoured to be his friend.

Unavailiable 8254175 - One of the best people I met both iRL and this game. He’s also known as FRITZHILL, he’s a type of friend you always know you can rely on. He’s just that guy you know will be there when you need him. I’d give this man anything he needs because I know he would do the same. When he starts fighting he doesn’t stop until we win. He’s the fighting Irish spirit who’s not currently in Ireland. A Canadian with the Irish heart.

Lady Silver - Another strong tank, loyal, honourable and emotional friend. Her voice will make you happy, she sounds like a South American should sound, she probably has Irish ancestors because that’s the way she play this game, a true Irish style. I’ll never forget some things she did for me and I’m happy about her membership in the family, always wanted to show her how it looks.

MR. HANK SCORPIO - We had our good and bad times, but that’s how it goes in the family. He’s one of the rare living Irish legends, he been there in eIreland’s best times. He’s also known as Celtic Tiger, RL from Dublin, making his humour kinda legendary. He’s the type of guy you want to have on your side just for the sake he’s not on the other side. He’s been one of the most successful Irish Presidents and the only thing stronger than his knowledge about the game is his trolling.

Flaco Jimenez - Another rare ex-ICA member, he’s been Irish citizen for years, fighting in all of its battles, giving his best. Always there when Ireland needs anything, always there when family needs anything. One fo the people I respect most for their loyalty. You won’t see him leaving ya.

Punistick - While we’re on loyalty, this guy has been CrOmega member since the day 15 of CrOmega or something like that, he came from eMexico and everyone fall in love with him since the day 1. He’s not always playing in active mode, but you gotta enjoy his company when he does. Punistick is just one of the best players I’ve met.

The Republics Assassin - Aka Joe Hitman, for those who are here for a long time will surely remember this guy for everything he did. I was always enjoyed reading his articles, those are wrote in some very special way. He lives in the northern part of island which probably made a huge contribution to his character. I love it. Founder and a Legend of Ireland and the ICA, recently got back!

H.S. Thompson - I only remember his name from v1, he came back to the game recently, joined Discord and reminded me how V1 was good, his previous avatar hasn’t been seen since the time when I enjoyed the game most, I could say he’s one of the things which triggered me to found the ICA again.

Kattiaa - She’s one of my newest friends too, met her in Australia, she gave me her MU for CrOmega without asking questions. She’s a strong tank and has recently became the Irish citizens. Let’s all make sure she feels it as her home and never leave us. We’re going to enjoy her company, trust me on that! When there’s a battle and I see her fighting, it’s hard to give too much chances to the opposite side.

Master of Brutality - Aka seoul city. I already introduced this guy while ago with CrOmega articles, but he deserves it again. I know it maybe sounds like I’m repeating myself, but I’ll do it again. He’s one of the best guys I’ve met. His english isn’t the strongest, but you won’t need more than few minutes chat with this lad to realize how nice he is. A loyal friend for years already. Never failed me, not even once!

ttanttane - He usually comes together with seoul, another Korean in CrOmega, another reason why I’m still here. He used to tank hard as hell before introduction of Maverick pack, whenever I needed anything I’d just ask him and he would deliver it. I’m thankful for the day he decided to join us.

Ian Passmore - He’s another Irish legend, he been there with the ICA in v1, he was always a loyal soldier, he plays this for years and years, under so many different modules and leaderships and he never had a fight with anyone. He’s been there for Ireland every time Ireland needed him. He always puts Ireland above anything else. Another rare Irish living legend.

HardcoreMaster1950 - He’s from Croatia, which makes it three of us in the new ICA, another guy who plays inactive sometimes, but when he’s on he always give his best to help. I like talking with him cuz he’s from Dalmatia, croatian region with a different accent and way of talking, so it always amuses me. HM1950 is one of the people I’m sure will never fail me.



If you feel like you’d enjoy our company then you should consider joining us. We’re fair bunch of lads who are always trying to find ways to have some fun. This game has always been rigid, without too much gameplay options, but it was the community which made it fun. That’s exactly what ICA is all about, we’re about to spice things up, make some glorious moves and introduce some of the Irish fighting spirit to the World.

Our chat is on the Irish Discord server (if you’re still not using Discord, you should, it’s great fun and there’s a lot of Irish in there), it’s the place we’ll be using for our coordinated strikes too.

We’ll set up the communes until the end of next week, which means all of our members will receieve some supplies, it won’t be much, but most of them doesn’t need supplies anyway, they’ve been clever enough and spent enough time in this game to become self-sufficent, or are on the good way to become that. We’ll be giving everyone some useful advices, we’ll be organising RW’s, we’ll fight for weaker and opressed countries. Just things any Irish would appreciate.

Our avatars are probably one of the ugliest in the game, you’ll hate them, there’s no place for personal part and pixels are just awful. However, those avatars are representing everything glorious of eIreland, Ireland and our tradition and spirit. Those avatars are simply legendary and everyone who wear them should be aware of it. It’s a great honour and not everyone was able to be the part of that. Now you could.
