Give our territories back ,and we talk about ..

Viira, first of all: "Hello".
The eRomanian government has tried to established peacefull contacts with eUkraine in the last few weeks.
Establishing normal and open relations between eRo and eUkr is one of the goals of my mandate as MoFa 🙂.
So, in fact, we do care about ending the war and we are open to any discussions which will lead to better relations between our to countries🙂.

Lets say we do give them back, what guarantee is there you wont just attack Podolia again?

Last I checked we did not nor do hold any Romanian territories.

The conflict with your country was strictly about access to a high iron region. We do not want to get rid of Ukraine.
In order to start negotiations we must make sure that Ukraine is able to speak for itself and not represent only the interests of Hungary.
I think some steps have been made by your leaders in that direction.

Weel I think that ending this war it's the best thing for both countries and I really hope that it can be done.

Well... what Ukrainians want is irrelevant because Ukraine is under the full control of Hungary even if they like it or not 🙁

It's nice to see you 😉 we would be open to talks even about the flowers that bloom in spring, as long as they're not from eHungary.

Maybe someday soon on IRC we'll have a chance to talk again.

If Ukraine was independent we'd have signed peace by now.

Danylo, the Moldavian territories are very much ours, they unified with us a long time ago.

Viira, about the peace, yes it would be nice, but not possible because your leaders are probably to afraid of hungary to administer their own foreign policies, and hungary wants war with us, not peace.

Come on people, do something about that. Ukraine should return Moldavian lands, and Romania should sign a treaty not to attack Podolia. I lived and worked in Ukraine, it is amazing what they made of their state in the last two months, and for sure are no longer a puppet state. Cheers from a "neutral observer" 😉

As a simple romanian citizen, I would vote for peace in the following conditions:

1. Release of Moldova's territories.
2. At least 4 months NAP (no political or military actions)
3. At least 4 months of free trading between Ukraine and Romania (no trade embargo)

I agree that its scary to start making your own policies when we have no military power to defend your country. Ukraine is surrounded by PEACE. I'm personally worried that the instant Ukraine does anything that PEACE would dislike, they simply get rid of our country with a few of their tanks. No?

But I'm not going to pretend that I in anyway agree with PEACE or its ideology. I don't support PEACE, nor EDEN, I never liked Atlantis. However, I don't want to loose Ukraine - our country doesn't have much of a choice right now.

But, I'm glad we are talking about the issue

The liberation of Canada and Spain and the defense of Croatia and Greece should be enough to show the Ukrainians there is a viable alternative to PEACE.

cata vreme reactioneaza atat de prietenos gray-ii din tara (scuze gray, nu m-am putut abtine ca suna bine) - parca inclin sa cred ca e mai mult decat opinia unui simplu cetatean.
Dar n-are importanta. Ucraina nu misca in front in fata ungurilor oricum.

I will repeat what i commented on a past article but with the same subject.
Ukraine is in a bed situation by means of accepting unfair relation with Hungary in order to prevent a possible invasion from Romania. If we give them credit by signing a peace treaty, the Ukrainians would be able to take their own way, to be self-determining.

@Frostxtq - that is like saying most of Eurasia is Romania's because you controlled it for a long time.

Personally, I do not want to hold another countries' territory but I think you realize the necessity of a buffer when you attacked Podolia the first opportunity that presented itself and are currently trying to TO our government and even called your party the Liberation of Podolia Party. That's not even being subtle about your intentions but equally as arrogant as the people you call our puppetmasters.

@Danylo Halytskyj & Viira - I think the only points eUA and eRO could agree would be:
-renew the trade between eRO and eUA
-giving back of all eMD regions (not through RW but through war with eRO)
-full liberation of all eUA regions (eRo can help you with that)
-(maybe) leasing of Podolia - you can get some hospitals or DS for that, or gold

We know very well why you came here to talk - you are afraid of a PTO. Let's do an agreement BEFORE it happens
