[CP] War On UK!

Hello Eire,
We were thinking about what to gift the Irish citizens for the Christmas and a trip to Belfast seemed like the best gift in years. After proposing it to our Dublin Commune and after huge majority (~90😵 agreed to go for it Ireland has proposed United Kingdom as Natural enemy. It means a war will start. Historic war between our two nations. After years of peace and cooperation.




Reasons behind..


As you probably know Ireland and UK has been on the same side for couple of years now. Over few periods our relations has never been better and we actually made a lot of friends over there. However, recently UK has decided to go full proAsteria side. They’ve signed MPP’s with almost all Asterian countries, including the ones who has been attacking us several times. We would respect their decisions if only we were informed (as their friends) of anything. However, this didn’t happened. UK has just decided to go their own path and leave us behind, without even telling us about it.

After several of their citizens fought against us in some of our wars (Australian ones) we’ve stopped seeing them as friendly neighbours. Since Ireland didn’t had a real war for months, maybe even years we’ve decided to go for it. Together with our allies we’ve decided to attack the British Empire. Since they’ve prepared their side for a war already we’ve been expecting them to attack us. They even signed MPP’s with the countries we fought together against literally few weeks ago. There is no respect in it, no honour.





What can we expect?.


We’re expecting hard battles, expensive rounds and a lot of fun. No one believes this is going to be an easy campaign. Since UK has shifted to Asteria I’m fairly sure they are going to have massive support by their new buddies. But Ireland will win. As we always win.

Irish citizens has missed all the fun recently, we weren’t able to fight almost anywhere since we had friends on both sides. According to some messages by our former allies, it does look like we will have friends only on one side now. Dublin Commune has been informed about it. It’s something we expected, but not that soon. When your friends are fighting for your enemies, then there’s not much hope that those friends are going to pick you over their new friends. I’m talking about our ex-allies who picked damage over friends. We won’t forget that. We stood with our friends over the good and over the bad time. For the most of the Erep history Ireland has been on a weaker side, even though we had many offers to ‘change the side’. We sticked to our ideals, honour and most of all, our true friends.

Back in the old days it took a lot of strength to say no to the stronger side, but we did that. We stood with our allies against the whole alliances, we vetoed our enemies for our friends. We did a lot of things and we can be proud on all of that. Whole our history if full of glory and honour. We will make sure future is the same as the past. Even if that means we’re going to greet the New Year wiped. We’re going to fight and we’re going to fight hard.




To our friends…


We haven’t asked for help for a lot of months, we fought for our allies, we’ve been there for them. Irish soldiers has been one of the most loyal soldiers. Whenever our friends have a fight, we’re always there, mostly more than any other ally. Ask anyone from our MPP list, when we fight, we fight strong. We will keep doing that.

However, this time, we need your help, we need our friends in our battles. Ireland is not as big as the UK, but we surely has most loyal friends in the eWorld. And we’re going to need them. Because we’re releasing the Green Hell, we’re taking up the North again, we’re going for United Ireland and there’s no force in the World which can stop us from trying…

Ireland needs you, more than ever. We’re not afraid to attack, we’re not afraid to defend. But we just want to have friends by our side. In our battles, or in theirs. Because that’s what Erepublik is all about - friends. Cya in Ireland!
