[CP] End of Term Report November

Day 5,125, 00:57 Published in Japan Japan by Masaharu Homma

Happy first day of December!

Time flies when you’re having fun. In only a few days from now, my term as Country President will be over, and we will have elections again.

I wanted to take some time to reflect on this past month, and all that we have achieved (and failed to achieve).

Foreign Affairs:

We extended the MPP with Indonesia. I know not everyone is happy with this, but it is a priority of us to improve relations with other Asian countries. And Indonesia has been a great friend to us. Also, it gives us the opportunity to fight in Indonesian battles to win medals (but, please, no stealing).

Our training war with South Korea came to an early end. Their citizens were of the opinion that they had too many battles for their population and wanted to end it. We had no option but to accept.

We have already found another country interested in starting a new training war with us. Soon we will share more information about this.

Finance:

1 of our goals this month has been to strengthen the financial position of Japan. I am very pleased to share the results.

This month, we were able to generate a profit of almost 2 million JPY on the Monetary Market.

On most days in November, Japan had a positive net income. There have only been 4 days in November when we had a negative net income. This is because we paid out the rewards to our J.U.D.O. program participants on those days.

We had a very good month. We added over 2 million JPY to our balance sheet. Most of this money remains in our national organizations. Here it is immediately available to the government when needed.

The graph below is of our total assets, so this also includes the money that is sitting in the treasury. We can only access the money and gold in the treasury by passing a law.

Education, Culture, and History:

We completed writing a New citizen message and congress passed it into law. The previous one was not very engaging, and it included a link to a defunct government supply program.

We organized a writing contest for the citizens of Japan, with some great prizes for the winners. Unfortunately, we did not get any participation, so we had no option but to cancel the event.

Furthermore, we promoted the November Empress Day event. A great number of people participated, which was wonderful to see.

Defense:

We continued the J.U.D.O. program throughout November and have paid out a total of 595,000 JPY. This is a lot of money, but it is money that is ending up in the pockets of Japanese citizens. The winners can use this money to develop their accounts.

Yesterday we made a contribution of 81,000 JPY to start an epic in the battle of Sapporo. I saw a lot of Japanese soldiers come out to fight in this battle and reap the benefits.

And that concludes this end-of-term report and review. I am very pleased with all that we have achieved. At the same time, I recognize that some things, such as our communication, could have been better.

I hope that all you enjoyed this article. I encourage you all to come out this 5th of December to exercise your right to vote.

Best,

Masaharu Homma
