Hello dear eAustralia,

Before I start with the article we have to reflect upon tragic events which affected Australia in Real Life. As you already know, high temperatures and months of severe drought have fuelled a series of massive bushfires across Australia. Although recent cooler conditions and rain have brought some respite, more than 60 fires are still burning in the states of New South Wales and Victoria. Some 30 people have so far been killed - including four firefighters - and more than 10 million hectares (100,000 sq km or 24.7 million acres) of bush, forest and parks across Australia has burned. In the worst-hit state, New South Wales (NSW), fire has affected more than five million hectares, destroying more than 2,000 houses and forcing thousands to seek shelter elsewhere. Tens of thousands of farm animals, mainly sheep, were also killed in the fire on the island.



As CP of eAustralia I felt the need to emphasize the need for help and ask all good people of eRepublik to donate and help the affected. I won't be leaving any external links for donations, if you wish to donate there's dozens of sites where you can do so. Even though I'm not Australian IRL, I feel great compassion and sincerely hope that our Aussie erep friends and their families are safe.

Now, let's get back to eRepublik. Time for new update on current affairs.

Concessions:
We've signed a new concession deal with eMoldova for our food resources in Tasmania, the price is 700k plus percentage of their food GDP. There was a minor hiccup due to Greek occupation of Tasmania, but we liberated the region in no time and resumed the concession.

Our allies have agreed to leave Tasmania and South Australia free, and allow us to rent out weapon resources from South Australia and Cattle from Tasmania. We've been working on getting us concession partners for those resources, but the offers we've received so far were not satisfactory. Hope we can get a good offer very soon.



Training Wars:
Currently we're engaged in 2 active TWs with Turkey and Greece. Greece will be leaving our cores soon, and they will be replaced with Montenegro. Our resource regions will remain free while te rest of the regions will be used for TWs. eAustralia owes gratitude to our allies - Turkey and Greece, for all their efforts to keep eAustralia free. We won't forget your support and help, and we hope our bonds will be even stronger in the future!
