Why You Should Join the Airborne


In the last Airborne article of 2013, I want to talk to you very clearly about why you ought to join the Airborne, if you qualify

We are not the strongest MU you might find (that designation belongs to the US Marine Corps). But we are no slouches, either. Today, I am raising our minimum strength requirement to 10,000. And it has been 8000 for months now.

But if you are looking for a unit that is both elite and an active community, we can compete with any MU in the eRepublik world.

But don’t take my word for it. Below are the some descriptions of the Airborne MU from current members. They were given in interviews we have published for more than a year now. Except for minor changes in spelling and grammar, I have not edited these comments in any way.

What do you like most about the eUS Airborne?

Its a great home. The people here are friendly and fun to spend time with chatting between battles. We have effective and responsible leaders who communicate well and run things efficiently. The supplies are regular and more than adequate and many AB members devote a lot of energy to making things work out so the whole group can benefit. I appreciate that members of the AB are committed to seeing things run well and spend lots of their time to make sure that others can have a positive experience playing the game. There are other communities in-game that do a great job at this too, but I think the AB is one of the best at this.

What aspects of AB membership have you especially enjoyed. Are there aspects that you would rather not have to “enjoy”?

I love that there is almost always someone on IRC, and even in the rare occasion that someone is unavailable in IRC I know I can always send an in game message if I need help. Everyone has been very friendly and helpful, and more importantly the quartermasters seem to appreciate us and want to help keep us supplied. It only makes sense, right? Keep us supplied and we will be able to do more damage. So far I haven't found anything I don't like about the Airborne. I love it here!

How would you evaluate the Airborne? Would you recommend that a friend join us?

If you want to join an active group of experienced players, Airborne is clearly the way to go. There’s always active chat going and everyone is so friendly.

If a friend were looking for an MU to join, would you recommend the Airborne?

Absolutely. Why haven't you joined yet....Great Community, supply system is great.Food,Weapons. Seriously why haven't you joined?
