Hello everyone! I want to start off with some exciting news. We are now the largest party in the country. We go in to these upcoming Congress Elections with high hopes. Let's try and win! Our ranks have been bolstered by some great new friends who have joined us in these past several weeks, and with your help, WTP will only continue to grow stronger. Get out and VOTE We The People on Saturday, April 25th!

Aersidius has assumed the role of Party Vice President this month, with Jimmy Ayoub coming on board as Spokesman, and Secretary General H U L K jumpstarting an excellent program for new players that I encourage you all to speak to him about! I of course continue to rely on the guidance and wisdom of Councillor Chickensguys. POC0bob has been growing a very exciting lottery program that I also would recommend participating in or contributing to if you can!

I am also announcing that beginning next month, WTP will be transitioning to a fully democratic model of governance. With our growing numbers, it makes sense to make this change now, and in WTP we always follow what the people want. In the future, congress elections will look like this:
*Congressional Primaries will be conducted on the party feed.
*Anyone who is level 20 or higher will be eligible to participate.
*Voters and candidates must be legitimate WTP members to participate.
*Between the 16th and 18th of the month, the Party President or a representative of his choosing will ask for candidates to put themselves forward for consideration. *Nominations will last for approximately 48 hours.
*Following this, a 48 hour voting period will commence via a poll PM'd to the members.
*After nominations conclude each member will receive five votes, which they can cast for any of the candidates of their choosing who are nominated.
*Tie-breaker votes for preference on the congressional list will be decided in favor of the person with the fewest number of congressional medals.
*In case of a second tie, the person with the older account will receive preference.
*Only candidates who receive three or more votes are considered "viable" and will be assigned a spot based on the results.
*All other spots on the Congress list not determined by voting will be up to the Party President's discretion.
*You are not permitted to vote for yourself.

Presidential Elections:
*The nomination process may begin in the party feed at any point following the Congressional Election, but no later than the 28th of the month(In February it must started on the 26th).
*A presidential candidate must be nominated by at least three members of the party to be considered viable.
*You are permitted to nominate yourself. This counts as one nomination.
*The nomination process will last for approximately 24 hours.
*Immediately following this, the party will vote for approximately 24 hours on who our nominee will be.
*If only one candidate is nominated, we will forego the voting process.
