Lietuvos nepriklausomybės aktas – Lietuvos Tarybos 1918 m. vasario 16 d.
Dokumentas pasirašytas Vilniuje, Pilies g. 26, po to kai dr. Our history is rich in important, proud and worthy dates, but some of them are not only famous, but supportive, fundamental. This is the 16th of February, a day that is very significant for every Lithuanian who knows and respects the past of his country. And February 16, 1918, was crucial to our present and future.

LENIN: "ON THE NATION'S RIGHT TO SELF-DETERMINATION
How is USSR related here?? Lithuania restored Independence in 1918 and USSR was formed in 1921...dude, you have propaganda cancer in your head .
When did Lithuania fight to gain independence? It was created after the October Revolution, as well as Finland and Poland, by the will of the Bolsheviks, who fought against the counter-revolutionaries and the Entente forces until 1921.
The question was abt USSR, which was not created yet. Yugoslavia was created, that is true, and Lithuania, Poland and Finland has 1000 years of history, there was nothing to creat. Lithuania took advantage on weak Russia and restored independence as well of the rest countries. There is no any will of Bolsheviks.
typical co*munist idiot with 0 knowledge of history, Lithuania had 3 separate wars for its independence(against Poles, co*munists and white russians) and put great effort to gain independence, Poles had massive battles against co*munists, where they successfully cleansed world of 60 thousand of them, so no, we fought against that terrible thing, no thanks to it 🙂

The Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes was created after the victories of the Serbian army in the First and Second Balkan Wars and over a million Serbs who died in the First World War. Yugoslavia is from 06.01.1929. years. The only people who did not have their own units, on the side of Hitler, and against the Russians on the Eastern Front, were the Serbs.
Wtf...

A Finnish blogger shocked Facebook when he published this article:
"THAT'S WHY HALF OF THE WORLD IS FOREVER OBLIGATORY TO RUSSIA"
(!)
Are you asking about the results of the Russian "aggression"? They are as follows: half of Europe and part of Asia got their statehood from the hands of this particular state.
Let us remind ourselves who is correct:
- Finland in 1802 and 1918 .. (until 1802 it never had its own state).
- Latvia in 1918 (until 1918 it never had its own state).
- Estonia in 1918 (until 1918 it never had its own state).
- Lithuania restored its statehood in 1918, also thanks to Russia.
- Poland rebuilt the state with the help of Russia twice, in 1918 and 1944. The division of Poland between the USSR and Germany is only a short period!
- Romania was born as a result of the Russo-Turkish wars, and it became sovereign by the will of Russia in 1877-1878.
- Moldova as a state was born within the USSR.
- Bulgaria was liberated from the oppression of the Ottoman Empire and regained its independence as a result of the victory of Russian weapons in the Russo-Turkish war of 1877-1878, whose goal this was. As a token of gratitude, the state of Bulgaria participated in two world wars within the framework of anti-Russian coalitions. Bulgaria is now a member of NATO, and American bases are located on its territory. After 1945, there were no Russian soldiers on its territory ...
- Serbia as a sovereign state was also born as a result of this war.
- Azerbaijan, as a state, was formed for the first time only as a part of the USSR.
- Armenia was physically preserved and revived as a state only within the USSR.
- Georgia is physically preserved and revived as a state thanks to the Russian Empire
- Turkmenistan never had statehood and formed it only as a part of the USSR.
- Kyrgyzstan never had statehood and formed it only as a part of the USSR.
- Kazakhstan never had statehood and formed it only as a part of the USSR.
- Mongolia never had statehood and formed it only with the help of the USSR.
- Belarus and Ukraine also gained statehood for the first time as a consequence of the Great October Revolution in the republics of the USSR. And only in 1991 (also from Russia) did they gain full independence.
It is also worth considering the role of Russia and the USSR in the birth and formation of states such as China, Vietnam, North Korea, India, Greece (Russia took it from the Turks back in 1821), Algeria, Cuba, Israel, Angola, Mozambique etc. ...
Such a strange "aggression" has historically manifested itself in Russia!
With the significant contribution of this country, even Switzerland achieved independence from France. More precisely, it was done thanks to Suvorov (217 years ago) and since then Switzerland has never (!) Fought;
There were also:
- Liberation of Austria from the Third Reich in 1945;
- Liberation of Czechoslovakia from the Third Reich in 1945;
- The position of Catherine II in 1780 with the creation of the League of Armed Neutrality and the real support of the North American United States in the fight for their independence from Britain.
- twice in the last 2 centuries, the independence that Russia gave to most European countries after it destroyed Hitler and Napoleon;
- Stalin's position in the negotiations with the United States and England, which gave Germany the opportunity to preserve its statehood after the defeat in 1945;
- Gorbachev's position, which enabled the reunification of the two Germanys in 1990 without unnecessary problems;
- Soviet aid to Egypt, after which he was able to endure and strengthen his independence in the war with Israel, Britain and France in 1956-57.
- The intervention of the USSR in 1967, which stopped the war between Israel and Egypt (actually saved the Arabs from defeat in two wars in 1967-74).
- The decisive role of the Union that ensured Angola's independence in 1975.
And finally, the main thing. It was the USSR, after the victory in the Second World War, that played a key role in ensuring that most of the colonies of Western Europe gained independence in the process of global decolonization initiated by the Union.
The entire history of Russia suggests that it was consistent under any power and system in maintaining the principles of independence and self-determination of nations and peoples. She is the one who helped in every possible way to create a multipolar world in any era and at any time.
Unfortunately, very often at the same time she sacrificed her own interests, and if the policy of Mother Russia were, at least in part, similar to the British, now half the world w
