Join the new world

As this is my first article I'd like to use this to talk about what I have done so far and give a little bit of background about myself.


This is actually not my first time here at Erep, I’ve had two different short stints here never really finding any reason to stay. First time I was here was just before EDEN began its invasion of the eUK. I remember that this was an exciting time to be on eRep but I had no real connection to the rest of the community and I wasn’t really having fun being barely more than a two-clicker. I eventually quit I believe shortly after V2 was released because, atleast to me, the economy was becoming more gold intensive, and having no gold, I didn’t see the point in playing the game when I didn’t have any money.


Some time after I quit I had thoughts about returning to the eWorld and seeing if anything had changed. I had to create a new account because I couldn’t remember any of the account information from the first. I decided to make my new start in a new community. I thought, since my family is mostly Irish, let’s see what eIreland is like. Honestly I didn’t even stay around long enough to find out. I think I played for about a week. This time I quit because I found a dfferent browser game that I enjoyed much more.


This brings us to today. I’m not sure what made me sign up again but I’ve already noticed many differences this time from my previous two tries. I’ve only been here about a month but in that short I’ve already made many more friends and connections than previously. I’d like to thank all of those who have taken the time to talk to a “noob.” It’s really the only reason I didn’t quit quickly again.





On the first day when I got to the mission to join an MU, my first thoughts were “Why should I?” I went to look at the eUS’s MU’s despite my initial doubts. The Cannon Cockers caught my eye almost immediately purely because I can still be immature sometimes and there name had the word Cock in it. After looking at their page I thought, “Oh what the hell! I can always leave later.” So I joined and I haven’t looked back. C4 turned out to be a great decision, with an active group of guys and gals but not so large that it’s impossible to get to know everyone. I’ve was recently given the opportunity to handle incoming FRM donations. While this isn’t the biggest of jobs it was more than I expected to be doing a month ago. A big thanks to all the Cannon Cockers for being a great MU and awesome people.





When it came time to pick a party, I choose The American Military Party, because I’ve always been more militarily inclined. While I’m not the most politically ambitious person I still wanted to be involved somehow and I quickly saw opportunities for new players. I applied for a job in the party cabinet without any real expectations for getting a job in party leadership. By the end of the week, our new Party President, DLS, had offered to put me in charge of restoring our party’s historical records. I thought this was a strange job for someone who had just joined and didn’t know any of the party’s history, but I took it as a chance for me to learn about the party I was now a member of, and start to make a name for myself. I’d like to thank all of AMP for being welcoming of new people.


And now thank you, for taking the time to read this article. I know I’m not a spectacular writer, but I hope the grammar is at least correct so you can understand what I am trying to say. New article will be released sporadically as I find inspirations, but there will be an article within the next 2 weeks with the history of the AMP.
