It soon will be three years since you joined eRepublik. Could you tell us a bit about your past experiences in this game?

I started out knowing nothing about the game. With no help from anyone else I made some poor decisions and wasted a lot of gold.

I soon after found out about the Training Corp and learned a lot. The game mechanics were a lot different then, but I started working and training, building factories and started making plenty of profits.

Someone from the Mobile Infantry requested me, I transferred and very quickly worked my way up to PXO then PCO. Due to unexpected circumstances I had to abruptly leave eRepublik.

When I returned a year later I had found some drastic changes had been made to the game and the economy was terrible, but my CO suggested upgrading my training grounds and that was the best advice I have gotten. In my last 3 months of being in the Mobile Infantry I had won the Private of the Week award 9 times within an 11 week period.

You joined the Airborne about a month ago, just after you reached our minimum qualification. There are other Mus with relatively high qualifications. How did you decide to apply to the Airborne?

The Mobile Infantry was becoming somewhat inactive. The supplies were difficult to obtain and I was being treated rudely by the quartermasters, even though I was currently the most active private in the MU, so I decided it was time to consider my options.

I asked around and found out that the Airborne is the most active military unit and that the supplies were great. I built up my strength and as I approached 7000 the requirements were raised to 8000. I didn't mind waiting another 12 days though since I am increasing my strength 90 each day. I really wanted to join the Airborne.

What aspects of AB membership have you especially enjoyed. Are there aspects that you would rather not have to “enjoy”?

I love that there is almost always someone on IRC, and even in the rare occasion that someone is unavailable in IRC I know I can always send an in game message if I need help. Everyone has been very friendly and helpful, and more importantly the quartermasters seem to appreciate us and want to help keep us supplied. It only makes sense, right? Keep us supplied and we will be able to do more damage. So far I haven't found anything I don't like about the Airborne. I love it here!

Have you had any experiences while with us that stand out in your mind?

Honestly, the best experience I have had so far is the recognition and appreciation of my hard work and dedication. I have been very active since my return to eRepublik and I can tell that I have finally found a home with an active leadership that appreciates that.

If a friend were looking for an MU, would you recommend the Airborne to him or her?

Definitely! I have already been informing the active members I see still stuck in an inactive MU that there is a better place.

Thank you for the opportunity to share my experiences and opinions. I hope I haven't stepped on anybody's toes by telling the truth about my past experiences but I believe it was important to mention. If we are to move forward we have to look at the past, and for an organization (or unit) to improve they have to know where their flaws and weaknesses are.
