I'm still here wondering why Phil quit since he was like 7 votes from winning. With a little reform and cleaning up his act, he could've easily taken next month.

Phil was the perfect example of exactly the kind of behaviour that drove citizens away from the eUS Forum.
As for whether or not he is Valiant Thor to me makes no difference since IMO a lot of so could 'elite' citizens either have or had at one time more than one persona playing this game. In fact, I know several who ran or still run Bot Farms. It is sort like the pot calling the kettle black....

For me it's not so much the running multis. I don't love that people do it, but admin allows it so I just let it be. It's the concept of someone coming in wreaking havoc to the point they make themselves practically radioactive so they reroll and try to hide behind a new profile. It just seems dishonest to me. You for example FS have had a few profile restarts, but have never tried to hide that it was the same person behind your profiles. Kudos to you for that. You own who you are and I think that's worthy of respect.

My perspective is that Phil made a promise just before the election results that even if he did win he was still going to be leaving the game. This would have cause all sorts of problems HAD he won. Also he has shown massive disrespect toward me, and a number of others. Even when I made a conscious effort to reason with him he still refused to stop insulting me and others. Phil is a troublemaker and that can be a good thing, especially for a party of anarchists. But we must ask ourselves if he has taken things too far.

In a world of zombie banks, corrupt corporations robbing you blind, and where politicians are bound by sacred oath to rough-fuck every voter, Phil is not so bad by comparison. He at least keeps people entertained and focused and at minimum, serves as reminder that you don't always get what you were expecting, but always get what ever it was you thought you were voting for.

Oh, I will admit that his style is, at times, just to the right of of a budding new Hitler, and he tends to dictate rather than negotiate, but, he does keep things fresh.

I am a stodgy old man. Consider for a second a world where I am in control. Snxxxxxxx, snort. Oh yeah, forgot I am already in control, but nobody noticed. 😃 Lulling you back into a nice safe slumber again. That's a baby, sweet dreams.
