Interview with the President Tifonus

This is my second article to day.
I have just done an interview with Tifonus. Please be aware I am not taking everthing in this article as truth and it will be the same with all the interviews lazo or not it will be up to the Citizens of SA.
Thanks to Tifonus for taking the time to do this.
First question.
(What country did you start in and what was your first few months like in the game.)
I started in Serbia in military unite named "RAVES".

it was fun, i meet lot of RL people and i attended erep meetings where we baked barbaq nad drink beer...good old times 🙂

(First question why did you take over SA?)

the game was dieing and we wanted to improve community of some small country...at that time africa was one of the bottom tier countries that were being opressed by Argentina. Soo we decided to go for South Africa. At the start we offered MKD and African people to work togather but they all rejected our proposal cos they didnt want to share CP medal with us.

(What where the problems you had when you guys first came in?)

Our main problem was that people who witnessed in real life apartheid were the ones that were doing it in game...they put insults based on our real life religion wich was distastfull.

But we didnt have any real problems...every month we had more and more congressmans soo we knew eventually we will win and africa will prospere to the point of being able to take down bigger foes.

(What are your plans to take the country further.)

This summer we manage to get full wep and full food bonuses...right now game is in stalemate and we will see what will happen with the game further.

right now we are helping 11 people to get to leg XX as fast as posible...we already have 7 soo another 11 will be a great add to our comunity.

(Okay last question will you guys ever let go of SA.)

This is not fair question...and not in the point of "listening to other side"
you are just asking question you wanna know in terms of your PTO.

We will never let SA go, cos now all of our people have SA legend ranks wich cant be attained twice, due to that we will stay in africa untile end of server.

Argentina never oppressed us. We did, however have a war with Brazil.

You memory is faulty. When the Lazocrats first came to South Africa, just like any country, we became concerned at the mass immigration. You likewise were working with Ronell, a professional troll, to undermine the government.

I personally went onto your IRC channel and asked that we clear the air, and work on a way forward. You guys insulted me, and thought that it was the biggest joke that I wanted to negotiate a future with Lazos. Never once were you interested in any negotiations.

I will tell you something from a person who actually witnessed apartheid, 1) many of the players in South Africa were RL black South Africans, or LGBTG, both of which were afforded no rights during Apartheid. I was one of the oldest RL people, and I was 12 when Apartheid ended and 2) A person who grew up in a system of oppression can recognize that when you ask a group of people to negotiate for reconciliation and peace, and all they do is laugh at you, that is a uneven power balance and for that reason, you are PTO'ers, plain and simple. 3) Very few of the players in South Africa at the time were actually RL South Africans. The society was cosmopolitan in many ways. We were not anti-immigration of foreigners, we were anti a group of players deciding to take a big shit on everything we worked so hard for.

eSA had an alliance with Argentina. They were taking over regions in order to limit Congress seats to prevent the PTO.

And then to say they wanted to increase activity? Such revisionist history from the people who took eSA from an active community of almost 200 down to the point where you can become CP with only 20 votes.
