Foreign Affairs Update - Who are our allies?

A lot has changed in the last year. I'll be honest - last fall - despite years of service in the eUSA Government (doing domestic stuff), I really didn't know who were are allies, friends, enemies, etc. I knew that we had people on our cores for training wars, but when I'd see fights saying a certain battle was a priority, I never knew if it was "real" or not. I never felt involved. A lot has changed in the last year.


Since becoming President, I've tried to highlight when real battles are occuring, by calling them "real" - and pointing them out on national shout feed, but hopefully this information will help you know more about our eWorld.


Here is a quick foreign affairs overview:
We are in Asteria

The members of Asteria are:
Romania
Serbia
Bulgaria
Iran
Peru
Portugal
Colombia
Ukraine
Moldova
(and USA!)


Next, Hydra is in the Pro-Asteria camp and many of their members have been participating in the various Asteria operations to free USA and help our other allies.
The members of Hydra are:

Republic of Macedonia
Latvia
Lithuania
Netherlands


There are other independent, but strongly Pro-Asteria countries that have been helping Asteria in recent months:
Spain and South Africa

Paraguay was in Apollo with USA, but was actually wiped before USA was invaded (and stayed wiped for over 6 months). It was only last week that they finally had a successful RW and were able to air strike to our cores, where we host them – as they are again wiped in their cores.



We also have TWs with various “neutral” nations. Here is my (personal) take on them:


Canada, our neighbor to the north, generally pro-Asteria –which was a problem when we were in CODE, but now we are again on the same side and things are going better.

Mexico and Venezuela- recently they were both pro-CODE, although mostly out of necessity, as CODE was in power and occupied them. Our current training wars are the first step to rebuilding relationships


Poland, Taiwan and Japan are neutral and have training wars with countries from both CODE and Asteria.


The other main alliance is CODE – they are the enemies of Asteria. We were founding members of CODE in 2019, but the following year when Asteria invaded USA, we received no allied support (as Croatia and other members were on boycott). This is part of what led to USA leaving CODE and signing NAP with Asteria later that year. Since then, as noted above, we’ve worked our way up into full membership in Asteria. The ‘treason’ of leaving CODE was what prompted the CODE invasion of USA this spring.
