Egypt, An open letter.

Day 3,792, 14:46 Published in Egypt United Kingdom by Rusty D

marhabaan Egypt,

Some of you might not know me, but a lot of your older players do. We have share many a battle, fighting together side by side, helping each other with CO's, ensuring our fighters help each other out when one or another country we have been in has been under attack.

Whilst I am not writing this open letter today about our long friendship, I am hoping it does help make you think about your laws.

First of all, congrats on your recent victories in the USA. I know when Egypt sets it's mind on a battle, it goes all out. However whilst this victory is great for Egypt and her people, as well as great for Egypts allies, it does come at a high price for her allies.

In one of your US holdings, there is a little holding company called "Tax Haven", however, since your countries crushing victory, this little holding company has been slugged with a 6% work tax.

6% you say, well whilst 6 is a low number, the number of factories in it isn't. This equates to more then $1500 a day in work tax for me, if I choose to work there.

One must ask themselves, why is Egypt taxing it's friends and allies so highly? I mean any US citizen who has a holding there, can't work anyway, due to the active war. But citizens from other nations, are now being squeezed dry (and yes I am a poor person.... honest 😉 ).

So as you could understand, this makes me very sad. My companies there, supply food to the hungry, house's to the homeless, warplanes to the.... well you get my drift. So if you could find it in your great hearts, to either lower the work tax or offer tax back, to ensure your allies and friends can keep producing weapons, I can be more like this....

And I can help those poor little women buy the food they need and help support them through college. After all, I am not greedy, I just want to help.

Your old friend,
Rusty D
