dish vs. reality, or Baghdad dish

Day 812, 19:44 Published in United Kingdom USA by George Barker

I was reading through some of dish’s old articles, and was immediately struck by two things. First, he has an astonishing ability to say one thing one day, and then come back and say the exact opposite a few days later. One day the US is evil for attacking Mexico, the next day the UK is perfectly justified in taking Canada’s regions and participating in wiping them out, because it’s “just a game,” and that’s “fun.” One day he can’t wait to “repay the favor” for Canada making a blocking attack, the next, the UK wants no revenge, and is urging Canada to come to its senses and make a peace deal for Canada’s own good. I could go through and cite other examples: fortress strategy is bad one day, the next the UK must enact it and people who refuse to go along deserve no government support; the UK is neutral towards France being wiped out, no France is the UK’s bosom ally – really, I could type this stuff out forever, but instead I’ll invite those of you interested, to read his paper for yourselves and find the contradictions, if you have the time and stomach for it.

But beyond the contradictions – the cynical, desperate willingness to say anything, no matter how foolish, at any time, if he thinks it will serve his needs -- is how utterly, astonishingly, wrong he is. Wrong about almost everything. Here are some quotations taken from dish’s paper over the past few days:

Dish: “Canada and Sweden's attacks are easily repelled.”
Reality: North East of England has been occupied by Sweden

Dish: “Happy Fighting Phoenix, EDEN has spent around 5,000 Gold in the last two days. We'll see what they've got left after failing.”
Reality: France wiped from the map.

Dish: If EDEN cannot, with 5 open viable fronts, keep us locked, then they cannot expect to keep Paris. Or anything, for that matter. We shall not worry, we shall not fear. They may have the SW and Wales, at this pace, we'll have them back by Friday.
Reality: look at the map.

Dish: “To Poland; All Polandball jokes, trolling, and any other nonsense aside, you're in deep...well, you get it.”

Reality: look at the map.

Dish: “To Canada: Your blocking attacks are useless.”

Reality: look at the map.

Dish: “To the United States: Your hesitant calls to invade us initially are what cost your allies in Spain and Poland their regions thus far, and will be the fall of their empires. “

Reality: look at the map.

If you think I’m exaggerating or cherry picking this stuff, I really do invite you to go through dish’s newspaper yourself. Chances are, you’ll find all sorts of howlers, things I missed, things even more funny and, well, wrong. This wouldn’t be a big deal, except this is the guy who’s leading a war for the UK’s survival, and it’s pretty clear he hasn’t a clue what’s going on. The people of the UK deserve better than that.

dish and his crack team of advisers monitor the EDEN tanks on the outskirts of London - I mean, running for their lives in terror. dish is the chap on the lower right.
