Not really an update I suppose, more of me rambling. I threated those on the govt PM if they didn't write an article soon I'd risk showing my ass by writing one myself. lol
Orion Less UK
The Kingdom's MoFA mittekemuis announced yesterday that they would leave Orion. The final tally approved 22-9. With the accompanying article and follow up.
The heart of it seems to be that Mad Pauly didn't feel at home in Orion from the begining. He said the Latvian AS and subsequent UK wipe, which Orion wasn't able to provide enough support to stop, didn't decide the matter.
Now I admit that I'm slightly biased as I consider the principal players to be friends. I tend to take the move at face value, it is what it is. The UK did some stuff, miss calculated and have since decided they are bored and wish to do something else.
I'll let smarter people than I tell you what you should think.
Mayhem Or Just Annoying?
Three more days left... yawn.
Admin calls this an "event". Could possibly be the beta test of a plan to reduce the ever widening gap between old fogey's and noob's Strength. I understand, I really do. There are people with higher Strength than mine. Not many, but some. There's no way to catch 'em, I've been trying for years. Until they eDie its just not possible.
I'd just as soon see a complete reset along with removal of mods that just don't work or were never compleated. Not going to list them, you know what they are. There is an old saying, "The cream will always rise to the top.". What that means (for non-farmers) the good players that stick around will eventually be running things again. Hopefully the "good players" that have recently started playing will be added to the mix and we might actually have something worth playing again.
The Team
If you think the same old people are running things in Canada it's BECAUSE THEY ARE! Please do us a favor and speak up if you have ambitions of doing stuff. I will warn that we're not looking for a president that started playing last month but even if you started playing yesterday, and believe you would enjoy more than "work, train, fight", speak up! We need fresh blood.

There were 7 Air Strikes were loaded by the Axis of Evil just prior to Mayhem and they all decided once Mayhem began not to push a button.
I think that is a pretty strong indictment against Mayhem but with no important campaigns how can you really tell?
I can say that Mayhem significantly slow my progression to rank up. Again, I understand that lower division players don't want to rank up, even pay for the Infantry thing. Nice to have div 4 heavy hitters on your side though. Of course it slowed everyone so it's a wash.
Good to finally use some of the thousands of bazooks! Maybe they should of called it " Days of Bazookas". 😃
Wasn't just me who didn't feel at home, but hey. Had the button. Pressed it. Might have started World War 3. I dunno. Apparently I'm not one of the smart people either 🙂

I concur, Dill. We should remove all strength and divisions. Weapons should be removed as well as gold.
eRepubik should devolve to a game where mashing the fight button results in my avatar swinging a wooden club with a nail in it at someone else's avatar. Loser dies perma-death. Winner is the last guy standing with his club with a nail in it.
I was thinking more of an "i-bod" type affair where doing game stuff makes your phone vibrate.
