This song always made me reflect on why we exist. The older I get the less I understand why. In 1959 an airplane crashed killing Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper, Ritchie Valens and their pilot. These young men were not destined to discover new medicine, design a rocket to Mars or solve world hunger. Nonetheless they made people happy, and that was taken away.
