They say that no man is an island. And that's never been truer than after such a close victory that I cannot claim as mine alone.

To the voters who placed their trust in me: Thank You.

To the voters who didn't: Thank You.

To Pfeiffer: Thank you for the campaign. It was a hell of a ride.



As I spent Election Day driving home with my family from our Labor day vacation, my wife would update me on the voting every few minutes. At every gas station stop, I would log into the game or IRC and there would be massive amounts of messages of support. I even managed to fit in an interview with Clopoyaur while we stopped for lunch.

I don't want to name names because all of you were important to this undertaking and there are too many to name. It would literally be my entire article. You all know who you are. Thank you. Without you, I would not be standing here today.

Without those voting against me, this would be a hollow victory. My supporters are the reason I'm here, but you're the reason I'm going to work harder than ever to change hearts and minds.


I could stand around and thank each individual supporter, but, the reality is, I've got work to do. You all elected me for a reason and it's time to get down to business. We've got to get accesses sorted, org logins found, transition documents read, and many, many PM's to send/receive.
